How To Make Glass in Subnautica 2

You have two methods of making Glass in Subnautica 2. You can use whichever one you want, depending on the materials and stations available to you. Firstly, you can put two Quartz in the Fabricator to get one piece of Glass.

The best way to get Quartz is by breaking large Quartz deposits, found in various places across the map. Alternatively, you also have the option of consuming two Salt via the Processor. Salt itself can be found by using the Sonic Resonator on Salt Nodes underwater.

    FAQs

    Where to find Salt deposits?

Salt can be found quite close to the Lifepod. Simply head roughly 200 meters south-east of the Lifepod, and check the cave found in this area.

What is the first item you should get with Enameled Glass?

The most important items you will want to make first with this item are:

    • Bioscanner
    • Feedback Resonator
    • Tadpole Haul Chassis

However, that will definitely not be the end. You would also want to get the Tadpole upgrades and the Strike Armor once you have extra Enameled Glass.
