So, follow along as this guide takes you through the blueprint acquisition process and shows you how to craft the Scout Ray Chassis in Subautica 2.
How To Unlock Scout Ray Chassis Blueprint in Subnautica 2

You have to go to the Tadpole Pens and scan the Scout Ray Chassis for its blueprint. This place is roughly 650 meters east of the Lifepod, and at a depth of around 150 meters.
Once you arrive at this location, head inside, and you will find the Scout Ray Chassis resting in the back. Scan the fragment, and the blueprint will be added to your inventory.
Note: If the recipe is not added in the first scan, do not worry. Scan the Chassis from the other side, and both fragments should get added. This will give you the blueprint for the same.
How To Craft Scout Ray Chassis in Subnautica 2

You can craft this item at the Vehicle Fabricator while your Tadpole is stationed at the Tadpole Dock. Park it, and then interact with this station to bring up the recipe:
- 2x Plasteel Ingot
- 1x Advanced Wiring Kit
- 1x Dedicated Core
- 1x Strong Acid
Once you have the required ingredients, click the craft key to make this item. It will automatically fit your Tadpole. You can now use the Tadpole with this new upgrade and enjoy the upgraded speed and turning rate.
Note: If you are short on materials, then the Metal Farms made from Axum Bacterial Culture can help you immensely. These will let you duplicate some of the materials you have acquired over time.
