Pokémon Pokopia: Where To Find Peakychu

By Pranshu AryanMarch 8, 20263 Mins Read

    Summary

    • Peakychu is a unique variant of Pikachu introduced in Pokémon Pokopia.
    • You will have to increase your Trainer Rank to Great to unlock Bleak Beach.
    • Afterwards, Peakychu will show up during the middle of an Important Request.

Pokémon Pokopia has introduced many new variants of existing Pokémon. One of these is Peakychu, a spin on the iconic Pikachu. She was first seen during the trailers for the game, and so, I wouldn’t be surprised if you wanted to try to find her in the game. This guide will show you exactly where to meet Peakychu in Pokémon Pokopia.

Where Is Peakychu in Pokémon Pokopia?

You will meet Peakychu at the Bleak Beach. However, before you actually meet her, you have to proceed through the Brighten Things Up! Important Request. If you are looking to unlock Bleak Beach, you can jump to that section just after this one; and then come back here.

    • First, wrap up the initial Trubbish request as you reach the island.
    • Once done, help build a home for Meowth, filled with lights.
    • Next, you must talk to Professor Tangrowth, once prompted, which will take you to Mosslax (another variant Pokémon) with Meowth.
    • Your mission after this is clear. Light up the city with enough street lights, using Pokémon with the Generate Specialty.
      • I used Pawmi for this purpose since it was the most common one in the area. However, you can use any other Pokémon that serves the same purpose.
    • Once you have reached a certain limit, you can go back and talk to Professor Tangrowth and Mosslax (to check your progress).
    • This will initiate a cutscene, where Meowth will point out a commotion out on the streets. The Pokémon you were waiting for has finally arrived.

You finally get to meet Peakychu. I would suggest running alongside the Pokémon if you don’t see the direction Meowth indicated. You can see the nearby Pokémon running in her direction as well.

After this, Peakychu will join your efforts in lighting up the Bleak Beach. If you cannot access this location, then do not worry. The steps to do so are quite simple.

How To Unlock Bleak Beach in Pokémon Pokopia

Firstly, you will need to complete the Yawn Up a Storm! Important Request in the Withered Wasteland. This will unlock the two gates that lead to Bleak Beach and Rocky Ridges.

Of course, you can choose whichever location you wish, but I would suggest going to Bleak Beach first, since this unlocks Peakychu, while also giving you tons of cool Transformations like Camouflage and Lapras.

    FAQs

Should you go to Bleak Beach or Rocky Ridges first?

Both areas have their own benefits, which might entice you. You should take a look at the exclusive Pokémon and transformations available in both areas to make an informed decision. However, in my opinion, Bleak Beach is the option to go for, as you can also get some Pokémon dolls to visit Dream Islands from here. This is a great way to encounter Legendary Pokémon.

How do you increase the town’s brightness level?

You will have to light up street lights using certain Pokémon with the Generate specialty. Apart from this, you can connect utility cables across the town, and then power them all up through special power sources like a windmill and a furnace.
