Pokémon Pokopia – The Complete Gravestone Guide

By Pranshu AryanMarch 6, 20263 Mins Read

    Summary

    • You can make two specific Habitats with the Gravestone.
    • The Gravestone Habitats are necessary to spawn Cubone, Marowak, Litwick, and Lampent.
    • These require a few other items, but they are easily found and should not be a problem.

The Pokopia Gravestone is a rare item that might seem eerie at first, but it is quite helpful if you know how to use it. To be specific, you can use it to make two Habitats, which would be impossible to make otherwise. These Habitats contain some exclusive Pokémon that will not be found anywhere else. So, follow along as we show you how to use the Gravestone in Pokémon Pokopia.

Where To Find the Pokemon Pokopia Gravestone

During late-game, you will come across multiple locations with a Gravestone. However, you’ll also find a few quite early, like the one I discovered by going up from the set of ladders near the Pokémon Center in the Withering Wilds.

Note: There will also be some flowers growing along the path to the Gravestone, so grab a few if you do not have them. This will become useful in a second.

You can use this item to make two Habitats. They are:

    • Grave With Flowers Habitat
    • Grave Offering Habitat

You will need the items listed below to make this Habitat. Do not worry about the placement much. I placed the flowers randomly, but as long as they are all connected to the Gravestone, the Habitat conditions will be met.

    • 1 Gravestone
    • 4 Wildflowers

Alternatively, if you want to be safer in your approach, you can copy the placement as seen in the Habitat Dex, which is the Gravestone in the middle, surrounded by the flowers. Once it is set up, a Cubone or Marowak can spawn here.

Remember the specific instructions for this Habitat, as the conditions for it are stricter compared to the previous one. You need:

    • 1 Gravestone
    • 1 Plate of Food: Any food will do. I used a simple berry, and that was enough to meet the conditions.
    • 2 Lit Slender Candles: Place down the unlit Candles on both sides of the plate, and bring a Pokémon with a Burn Specialty (like Charmander) to light up the candles.

Once this habitat is set up, the following Pokémon will spawn:

    • Litwick
    • Lampent

    FAQs

Can you get Cubone, Marowak, Litwick, and Lampent anywhere else?

No, these two Habitats are the only locations for these Pokémon. Therefore, a Gravestone is necessary if you want them to spawn.

How to get a Pokémon to follow you in Pokopia?

You just have to press the Up button on the D-pad of your controller when standing next to a befriended Pokémon to get them to follow you. You will need to get a Burn specialty Pokémon to light up the candles for you.
