Onimusha Way of The Sword – All Skill Tree Details

Onimusha Way of the Sword gives you a solid set of options under its skill tree to make Musashi the warrior that he so desperately wants to become – right from chaining Issen attacks to consuming items quickly to stealthily taking down enemy mobs. The frustrating part is, the skill nodes are not visible right away – you need to keep unlocking Oni Portals to make the skill nodes visible, and then spend Red Souls and Power Stones to acquire these skills.

All Basic Skills in Onimusha Way of the Sword

There are 5 broad branches under which all the Skills are placed to accommodate blocks, parries, deflects and dodges. The first is for Issen and Reflex combos, the second has skills centered around Deflect and Blazing State. The third has skills that make the Oni Bow and ranged attacks powerful. The fourth set of skills is or Stealth, Assassination and general mob control through Petrify; while the last branch takes care of utility – like increasing environmental objects power, duration of item buffs and so on. Set 1: Issen & Reflex Combos

Oni Bow Ultimate Charged Attacks	Enables charged attack when holding R2 to stop stamina restoration as long as arrow remains pierced in enemy

Set 4: Stealth & Assassination

Assassination	Enables assassination by pressing Square
Stealth	Reduces enemy detection
Stealth: Assassination Boost	Reduces enemy detection even on performing assassination
Petrify	Surrounding enemies petrify in fear once you kill an enemy
Stealth While Running	Reduces enemy detection even when running
Petrify: Increase Number of Targets	More enemies petrify on performing a kill

Set 5: Utility & Support

Environmental Object Power 1	Increases damage caused by environmental objects
Absorb Souls While Attacking	Allows you to absorb souls even when attacking
Charm Capacity 1	Equip 2 charms
Item: Effect Duration	Increases duration of consumed items
Soul Absorption: Yield 1	Increase the number of souls that can be absorbed

All Special Skills in Onimusha Way of the Sword

Special Skills in Onimusha make use of the Oni Armaments, and all except one are handed out to you as part of the main quest progression. These can be lifesavers in tough boss fights and for mob control.

The bosses in Onimusha Way of the Sword hit hard, especially the end game ones like Dokyo, Sasaki Ganryu-3, and of course, Yoshitsune. Ensure that you go into these fights with a majority, or all of these skills unlocked.
