Pokémon Pokopia: How To Get Glowing Stone

By Pranshu AryanMarch 11, 20263 Mins Read

    Summary

    • A Glowing Stone is an important but rare resource in Pokémon Pokopia.
    • You cannot obtain it with your normal Rock Smash move.
    • Instead, you will need to consume food to upgrade Rock Smash and then break certain rocks to get Glowing Stones.

Pokopia has a ton of materials and resources to hoard. However, not all of these are easily available or easy to collect. You might have already seen these Glowing Stones, but not known how to collect them or break them. Fortunately, I have compiled all the information you need to know about Glowing Stones in this Pokémon Pokopia guide.

What Is a Glowing Stone in Pokémon Pokopia?

Glowing Stones are found in the mines of Rocky Ridges in Pokémon Pokopia

This is a unique-looking block that you will have noticed in certain caves, but might have been unable to break previously. If I had to put it into words, I would describe it as a black stone with shining rainbow gems embedded inside.

Fortunately, this distinct look makes them quite easy to spot within the mines of Rocky Ridges. However, the challenge does not end when you find these rocks. Instead, it actually starts.

If you had previously chanced upon these rocks, then you would have been unable to break them with your normal Rock Smash. You must consume a specific type of food to upgrade your Rock Smash.

I would suggest making any form of a Hamburger Steak. This is the exact type of food that is needed to upgrade this move. Once you have consumed your Hamburger Steak, Ditto’s Rock Smash will be improved for a short duration.

This is your time to shine. Take Ditto into the caves and punch any stone you find. This time, you will find that the stone crumbles without any effort, unlike before.

    FAQs

How to make Hamburger Steak in Pokémon Pokopia?

This is relatively easy to make, as long as you have the recipe for it. The primary ingredient to make a Hamburger Steak is beans in a cooking pan. You can also add other ingredients to make different variants of steaks, but this is the base recipe, which is necessary.

When do you learn cooking in Pokopia?

You can start cooking during the Rocky Ridges storyline, where you meet Chef Dente. You can choose to visit the Rocky Ridges right after completing the Withered Wastelands story. The alternative is to visit the Bleak Beach (where you learn about Electricity and get Peakychu instead).

What do you need the Glowing Stone for?

You will need them to complete the Skyland Building construction at the Sparkling Skylands. You will need 10 Glowing Stones to complete this. Apart from this, many items also need Glowing Stones to be crafted. These include Fireworks and Music Mats.
