This year’s Tower Heroes Halloween Spotlight quest, The Man and His Manor, is a straightforward item collection, stealth, puzzle-solving, and boss fight quest.
How to Start Tower Heroes Halloween Spotlight Quest?
To undertake the Tower Heroes Halloween Spotlight Quest, complete the Tower Heroes x Doors collab Rune quest first. This Rune quest will reward you with a Shears sticker. You need this sticker to unlock the portal to Man and His Manor Quest.
Follow these steps to start Tower Heroes Halloween Spotlight Quest:
- Finish the Tower Heroes x Door collab Rune quest.
- Go to your Events tab.
- Head over to Jeff’s Shop.
- You will find a doorway covered with vines on the left side of the shop counter, beside a bookshelf.
- Press the E button to pull up the sticker wheel and select Shears.
- Once you take them out, they automatically cut through the vines.
- Enter the doorway to find a Portal.
- Touch the portal to begin the quest.
Note: Use Sodapop and El Goblino to finish the collab quest. You simply need to clear out aggressive bramble vines using shears. Once completed, you will be awarded a Shears sticker. The quest is pretty easy, and you should be done in no time.
How to Complete Tower Heroes Halloween Spotlight Quest?
The Man and His Manor quest is pretty simple. You need to:
- Collect all four paintings that are spread across the Manor and return them to the gallery.
- Paintings are placed in various rooms around the manor, and can be identified by appearance of prompt ‘Pick up Painting‘ when approached.
- Three of them are in the manor itself (make sure you explore all the rooms), and one is placed in the underground sewer/ basement.
- Ensure that your Sanity doesn’t drop to 0%. Explore all rooms to mentally map all spirits (just in case you run low)
- Collect Spirits (blue flames with eyes) to restore your Sanity.
- Hide from the surveillance of the Manor (represented by red lights moving in a fixed pattern)
- Solve a couple of puzzles (one with Wolf Statues and another with piping valves)
- Find and move underground to solve the piping valve puzzle (where you connect all the pipes in one room to access the fourth painting)
- Open the secret passageway to the boss fight chamber by returning all four paintings.
- Defeat Alistair by dodging and jumping over his attacks, while collecting 35 spirits.
Tips & Tricks to Escape the Manor
- In the library, get all the wolf statues to turn 180 degrees (with their backs against you and faces towards the wall). This opens up a secret passageway behind a bookshelf in the room behind the dining room. You will find a painting there.
- Move underground after you find all three paintings in the manor itself. In the underground area, you will find a room with pipes running through the ground. Move the joints of these pipes until the input and output valves are connected. Once this is done, move out and find all red valves and turn them. This will lead you to the fourth painting and open a way to go into the manor.
- While underground, make sure that you do not touch the water when an angler fish is in sight. If you feel like he’s coming to catch you, stand as close as possible to the wall. Sometimes the fish can eat you even when you’re near the ledge.
- Do not let your sanity drop. Ensure a safe amount of sanity. Do not collect spirits if your sanity is above 80%. Mark the place and save it for later consumption.
- Be mindful of Alistair’s chain attacks in the boss fight. You cannot actually hit Alistair, so you will have to depend upon dodging his attacks by moving and jumping. After you collect all 35 spirits he spawns, he will be defeated.

- The red rotating fence can be jumped over, or you can just keep running and keep your distance.
In the later stages, when it combines these attacks, things can get chaotic, so make collecting Spirits your priority to minimize this phase.
