You can get Troilite by using a Charged Blast from the Sonic Resonator on Mineralized Clinkers. These are dark-green colored ores that are found sparingly in various locations.

The closest place we found Mineralized Clinkers was near an Angel Comb, which is approximately 1800 meters east of the Life Pod.

Note: The instructions after this will take you through Leviathan territory. Therefore, you must follow the instructions given below if you wish to safely go in and walk out without any scuffles that would surely end in your demise.

This Leviathan will tend to stay away from you if you are at around 450 meters or below depth. So, make sure that you dive down to a safe length before proceeding. Once you dive down to a sufficient depth from the Angel Comb, you will see a purplish formation that extends towards the east.

Follow this path, and you will arrive at a glowing green pool-like area. This area contains tons of Mineralized Clinkers. Just swim to each one and break them with the Sonic Resonator to get Troilite.

    FAQs

How to avoid Leviathans in Subnautica 2?

The best way to avoid these gargantuan and deadly creatures is to stay away from their territory. Leviathans will generally not wander outside their designated areas. So, you should be fine as long as you stick to certain depths and heights at different locations.

How to get Sonic Resonator in Subnautica 2?

You have to scan two Sonic Resonators to unlock its blueprint. This can be done at two locations:

    • Anita’s Blackbox at the Angel Comb (roughly 200-250 meters north of the Lifepod)
