Coming on the back of a 2 phase boss fight against Bai Chilian – one of the tougher bosses in the game so far at the end of the Crimson Forest region, you find yourself transported to the Village of Lu. The story expands significantly in this chapter, so do the number of region spanning side quests, weapons and other collectibles that are missable if you don’t go about them in the right way.
In this guide, we have covered all that the Village of Lu has to offer, to get you at the 100% completion status for this region, as you progress the Heartless Remnants main mission in Phantom Blade Zero.
For keeping the count obtained against the total available in this region, I have combined accessories and medicines, and weapons and Phantom Edges to keep it simple.

Getting to the Village of Lu
The first part of the quest is getting to the Village of Lu proper. You start a bit on the outskirts, and make your way to the Village – only after getting past a boss. There is help and a new mechanic available before that, though, as you meet Jewel – the sister of the blacksmith we first came across at the Outpost in Weeping Creek Valley.
Picking up the Illusory Pipa quest
Get the Bai Chilians’ Notes to begin the Illusory Pipa quest. and cross the bridge.
Interaction with Jewel | Jewel’s Knot Accessory (1/10)
Complete the interaction with Jewel to update Whence the Weeping quest. You can now upgrade accessories as well with Tainted Crystal Shards as the upgrade material required for doing so.
Get the Jewel’s Knot accessory from the chest next to her after completing the interaction. Take the steps ahead and get the Traversal Talisman. We will save the Mandate Encampment for later, first, let’s go left to the Village of Lu. Ring the Crossroads bell.
Take the ladder down and then the steps, and enter the building with the two lion statues at the entrance. Here, take the Joint Oath Against the Enemy, Wanted: Four Maskwalker Leaders, and the Joint Operations Plan Notes.
Get into the lake on the left side to kill the two enemies and then loot the chest with Polished Broadplate Metal. A couple of puppets will spawn from the red-lit shrine down the road. Kill them, and go to the left. Here, through the wooden fence, the Blue-Clad Young Master will invite you to come in and have a talk.
Retrace your steps and go through the gate beside the shrine, and you will have another NPC on your right – Old Man Gen – he happens to be the carriage driver when you had the fight way back in the prologue! Get rid of the enemies, take the ladder, ring the Old Man Gen’s Hideout bell, and speak to him.
Picking up The Journey Home & Leave None Alive quests
He will speak to you about a young girl (Yu’er) who ran this way as the place that she was staying at ran into trouble. At the end of the conversation, you will get 2 quests added to your quest log.
Picking up the Young Master Lan quest
Now, continue through the gate with the lanterns on either side and then while crossing the bridge, jump down to the left. Take out the 2 puppet enemies, and climb up and continue on the linear path to ring the Young Master Lan’s Hideout bell, pick up the Village of Lu Note, and speak to Young Master Lan to begin the Young Master Lan quest.
Now, from the same bridge that you jumped left to reach Young Master Lan, move right and get the Tainted Crystal Shard. Go up the ladder, and prepare for a boss fight.
Zhuo Bi, The Gatekeeper Boss Fight
Zhuo Bi is armed with a huge shield. So, get the Boulderguard accessory on, and the Dread Axe or Iron Gauntlet Phantom Edge. Each time you get the shield down, you get a window to reduce his health, after which the blue shield bar comes back up again.
Look for openings to get the shield out of the way first, before looking to deal damage. The moves to watch out for are ones where he rotates the shield rapidly, then does one swipe, and launches backwards to slam the shield into the ground twice, causing shockwaves each time. You can parry when he rotates his shield. Dodge the shockwave to avoid damage. The variation here is that sometimes he may slam the ground just once, and other times – the second shockwave slam can be a red glowing attack.
Most of the times, the single swipe with the shield will be followed by either a red or blue glowing attack that gives you the chance to bring down his shield bar a bit, so be ready when this happens.
The other move is a slam around him 3-4 times. Just keep your distance away in this case, or parry if you are feeling confident. He will also, use the slide as a sled and rush through the battlefield on it thrice in a row, and the third will always be a red glowing attack.
Bastion (Weapon 1/7) | Blackstone Shard #1
Defeating Zhuo Bi gets you the Bastion Phantom Edge – the first of the 7 weapons and Phantom Edges in the Village of Lu. It absorbs incoming attacks and uses them to unleash a powerful counterattack. This also opens up exploration opportunities – like the one in the Thieves’ Camp after you open the locked door. There was an area out of bounds with a chest in the back – we can now get that.
Loot the chest to get the 1st Blackstone Shard for the region.
Firefly’s Memory Flower (1/6) | Secrets at the Heart of the Lake
Now, there are 2 paths – the one with blue lanterns outside the gate and the one with red. Enter the one with the blue lanterns to get Firefly’s Memory Flower, and the Secrets at the Heart of the Lake quest. Use the climbable ledges and continue on the path ahead, to end up sliding into the main Village of Lu. This takes us to the same spot had we taken the gate with the red lanterns.
Picking up the Young Mistress quest
Interact with the red ribbon the right just before the bridge to begin the Young Mistress quest. Cross the bridge and ring the Well of the Three Puppets bell.
Finding Bodies of the Three Masters
Speak to the puppets sitting with Red Threads emerging out of them. The middle one of the three will have a detailed interaction, and will update the Heartless Remnants quest to finding bodies of the three masters and laying them to rest.
With that done, we will first cover the right side of the Bell … that drops down into the stream, and do half a circle, and eventually come back from a second bridge to the bell.
Memory Flower of the Villagers of Lu (1/4)
From the image above, take the right first. This side, you will come across a Villager holding his Wife. Complete the interaction, and continue on. Get the Weapon Reforge Talisman and the Traversal Talisman at the dead end. Interact with the Memory Flower of the Villagers of Lu 1: Lover’s Reunion.
Amber Shard (1/4) | Firefly’s Memory Flower (2/6)
Retrace your steps, and interact with the Villager holding his Wife for the second time to get Amber Shard # 1 for the Village of Lu.
We will now go to the other (left) end of the stream. Destroy the puppets there to get the Traversal Talisman and Firefly’s Memory Flower 2. Phantom Art Illusionist’s Settlement.
Picking up A Dream of Motherhood quest
Take the path that winds upwards and head straight into the house straight ahead, ignore the path that winds up on the left. Inside, destroy the crates on your right to loot a chest with Concentrated Solvent and Precision Mechanical Gear.
Interact with the red banner on the ground, and enter to get Illusory Incense Ash, and The Lady’s Edict Note. Interact with the lady to begin A Dream of Motherhood quest.
Young Mistress (2/5) | Picking up The Puppet’s Wooden Heart side quest
We can now take the path that winds upwards, to the Temple of Blue Fireflies bell. Interact with the red ribbon on the tree on the left to progress the Young Mistress quest. Speak to the Songstress Puppet (wait till she finishes her song) to get A Puppet’s Wooden Heart side quest.
Firefly’s Memory Flower (3/6)
Enter the temple and get the Firefly’s Memory Flower 6. The Acolyte, on your right to update Secrets At The Heart of the Lake to finding scarecrows and defeating hidden Acolytes.
Pick the Abandoned Puppet’s Letter note on your left. Exit on the other side to find it filled with mist. Return back to the bell, and go now to it’s left, on the roof and from there jump down to the open area with the tree in the middle and a red lit shrine on it’s right.
Pick Twinned Metal from the left here, and go ahead through the gap in the fence.
You should be here in the spot marked above, and the bridge that takes you back to the Well of the Three Puppets Bell. Get the Well Closure Notice Note from left of the place where you jumped down.
Spirit Returning Broth (Accessory 2/10)
Now, take the path on the left, up the steps from the Bell. At the end of the first set of steps, look to the left for a path with a cart on its right as the visual cue. Get the Camphor Timber, and use the ledge to climb into the house. Get the Diary of a Villager who stayed Mid-Autumn Note, and use the ladder to descend. Defeat the enemy to get Spirit-Returning Broth.
Mother’s Talisman (Accessory 3/10)
Retrace your steps to the point where you took a left, and take the next set of steps. Look to the right, and get the Mechanical Gear, Twinned Metal from the chest, then continue up.
Enter the house, and defeat the enemy. Watch out for her stomp and the red-glowing grab attacks. This also updates ‘A Dream of Motherhood’, and gets you the Mother’s Talisman. Get the Otherworldly Copper. From the next room, pick up Polished Forged Metal, and take the ladder up.
Quick Hand Zhang Treasure (1/3) – Wedding Candles
Open the door, and defeat the puppets. Get the Ritual Notice: How to meet the Lady Note, and loot the chest on the left to get Wedding Candles. Jump down and go left to ring the Covered Bridge bell. At this point, you can fast travel to the Well of the Three Puppets bell, and complete A Dream of Motherhood.
The blocked Red Threads prevent our progress, so we have to get that specific enemy down to unblock the path ahead. So, go left from the Bell, entering the gate.
Here, take the path on the right to have a conversation with the Old Beggar – the same one who we have come across at both the hub areas. After that, go up the ladder and loot the chest with Polished Twinned Metal.
Now, take the left, enter the house, and clear out the enemies. Take the Polished Broadplate Metal, Forged Metal, and Blazing Darkfire Charcoal. Climb down the ladder, exit the house, and get into the next one on the right to get Remnant Dust.
Now get into the open fields, kill the enemies on the right and collect Broadplate Metal. The next one has birds and a ranged attacker. Clear these out, and then, on the main path, you will see a gate to your right. Go ahead and open the shortcut back to the well.
Retrace your steps, and go the ledge with the shiny at the very end. Here, you will see a chest on your left. Drop down into the stream, and loot the Blazing Darkfire Charcoal.
Quick Hand Zhang location for Village of Lu
On the left, you will see an entrance with red lit candles on both sides. Enter there, and you will have Quick Hand Zhang waiting for you up ahead. Ring the Zhang’s Hideout (Village of Lu) bell. Interact with him to begin the Quick Hand Zhang’s Request (Village of Lu).
Go past him and loot the Weapon Reforge Talisman, Phantom Reforge Talisman, and Solvent. With that, take the path straight ahead, and you will slide down to the area from where you took the overhanging ledge to make your way to the hideout.
Firefly’s Memory Flower (4/6) | Blackstone Shard (2/4)
Now, explore the house overflowing with Red Threads on your left, clear out the enemies to get Firefly’s Memory Flower 3: The Herald.
Break the barrier on the left with the Dread Axe. Continue ahead, and clear out the enemies. Approach the large tree cautiously and assassinate the two enemies with your back towards you, and prepare for a fight against a spear and shield wielding enemy that ambushes you. Take him out to clear the Red Threads blocking the entrance.
With the area cleared, gather the Funeral Register Note, Polished Twinned Metal, Polished Broadplate Metal, and Blackstone Shard #2.
Forbidden Concoction (Accessory 4/10)
Now, go to the area with the red lit candles and make your way up. Unbolt the door, and take the ladder. Get the Forbidden Concoction accessory. Jump down, and ring the Black Serpent House bell. Speak to the Steady Wulin Fighter left to the bell, at the dead end.
Amber Shard (2/4) | Firefly’s Memory Flower (5/6)
Return to the Covered Bridge bell, and we can now move ahead. Defeat the spear and shield enemy, get the Darkfire Charcoal from the chest on the alcove on the left, and grapple to the next ledge to get Young Mistress Ribbon (3/5).
After the first set of steps, take the path on the right and clear out the enemies. Loot the chest at the end of the room to get Polished Broadplate Metal, Diary of a Villager who stayed Frost Descent Note. Take the ladder down to get Exotic Copper Ingot from the right, Sha-Chi Amber Shard from the chest on the left, and Firefly’s Memory Flower 5. No Word.
Retrace your steps, and on taking the next set of steps, you will see a group of puppets knocking on a closed gate – you will not be able to open that for now. On your right, in the small farm with a fence on its left, take out the enemies to get to the chest with Broadplate Metal and Forged Metal.
Take the steps now to reach Statue Grounds Entrance bell.
Master Bi Yuan of the Tianxuan Sect Boss Fight
This boss fight is against a pretty nimble opponent who has quick moves, and even from a distance, can send ranged attacks your way that take out good chunks of your health.
The key here is to keep the battle close quarters and keep attacking him to bait him into the one attack where he swings his sword in an overhead slash. This attack is to be dodged (blocking will take out your entire Sha-Chi bar) and get in a couple of hits. Keeping it close quarters will also get him to do the red glowing attacks which you can again dodge to reduce his Sha-Chi bar.
The Outlaw Warblade works best, as you can use it;s special attack to heal as well as remove a pretty good chunk of Bi Yuan’s health. The Jagged Steel also helps with it’s bleed buildup increasing damage and removing a nice little chunk of his health bar.
Tianxuan Bronze Sword (Weapon 3/7) | Mandate Master’s Memory Flower (1/2)
On defeating him, you get the Tianxuan Bronze Sword. Get the Mandate Master’s Memory Flower 1. The Righetous & Evil. Save at the The Lady Grounds Crane bell for a cutscene and Young Mistress (4/5).
Quick Hand Zhang Treasure (2/3) – Unveiled Statue
Enter the building on the right to get Polished Forged Metal, exit from the other end, use the climbable ledge, and go left to get Unveiled Statue – the 2nd of the 3 Quick Hand Zhang’s treasures for this region.
Wulin Fighter’s Memory Flower (1/2)
Continue on the path and get Ancient Timber and Camphor Timber from the chest after defeating the two enemies. Drop down to get Wulin Fighter’s Memory Flower 1. Where Lies Hope? and Prayer to the Lady Note. Turn back, and get the Tainted Crystal Shard in front of the shrine.
You will now be back in front of the Crane bell. Exit the other side to witness a fight going on. Join in, clear out the enemies. Get the Precision Mechanical Gear, Broadplate Metal, and Polished Twinned Metal from the chest at the right end, and make your way to the Smuggler’s Treasure Cellar bell.
Make your way down, use the rope to get to the ground, take out the three knife wielding enemies and loot the chest to get Illusory Incense Ash, and Broadplate Metal. Unbolt the gate on the left to open up the path to the bell.
Livingwood Talisman (Accessory 5/10)
Note a ladder further up ahead from where you took out the enemies. Take that, and on the left, will be a chest with the Livingwood Talisman – the 5th out of the 10 accessories and Medicines in Village of Lu.
With that done, take the steps leading down (these are between the house on your left and the set of pots on the right). It is a straight path from here to the Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance bell. Get the Twinned Metal and Solvent from the chest on your right, and Mechanical Gear from the one on the left. Emerge into the open area for a cutscene.
Arrowward (Accessory 6/10)
Complete the interaction with the Wounded Thief – ensuring that you select all the options for conversation. Hand over the Thief’s Manual to him to progress Leave No One Alive side quest, and get the Arrowward accessory. Get the Traversal Talisman next to the thief, and enter the arena for a boss fight.
Master Bi Hai of Kuye Temple Boss Fight
This is an easy one – take out the monks to break the shield that Master Bi Hai encases himself in – watch out for an AoE when the shield breaks, keep your distance. You can then wail on the boss, his attacks are easily parried and shouldn’t be much of a problem.
He will then again get himself into the shield, and call on the monks. The cycle repeats itself – with the only change being that he will also get in a few attacks while being in the shield cover. Nothing that causes any major problems.
The Dread Axe / Iron Gauntlet help here to get the shield of the monks down quickly.
Kuye Temple Prayer Beads (Weapon 4/7) | Mandate Master’s Memory Flower (2/3) | Blackstone Shard (3/4)
Once you defeat him, you get the Kuye Temple Prayer Beads Phantom Edge, and Mandate Master’s Memory Flower 2. A Wish. To the left, is a chest with Blackstone Shard # 3.
Memory Flower of the Villagers of Lu (2/4)
Continue to the left of the chest, defeat the enemy, to get to Memory Flower of the Villagers of Lu: 2. Is That My Son, and finally, another chest with Forged Metal and Polished Forge Metal.
With all that rich haul, make your way back, and exit using the climbable plank around the area where you got all the loot. Defeat the enemies, cross the bridge, take the path winding upwards, to reach the Terraces bell.
Memory Flower of the Villagers of Lu (3/4)
Here, first, take the building on the right to get the Memory Flower of the Villagers of Lu 4: That is not my Father! With that done, take the main path and start working through the farms, clearing out enemies. Loot the chest with Otherworldly Copper, Polished Twinned Metal, and Polished Broadplate Metal; after the two spear and shield enemies.
Challenge (1/1) – Acolyte Yanru boss fight
Now, from the place where you looted the chest, look to the right for a burning scarecrow with lanterns around it. Interacting with it triggers a boss fight with Acolyte Yanru.
The boss does a lot of fire damage, and dodging is your key to victory here. In one of the moves, she will ascend to the air, ready up some fireballs, and launch them one by one. The last will be a big one, followed, always, by a red glowing attack. Dodge this to deal damage to her.
The other attack is when she is on ground, and will emit a series of fireballs at you, very fast. Again, dodge like mad to avoid burn effects, and ready up for the final red glowing attack after this moveset. The final attack is when she emits a constant flame volley. Here, you can go to the side and attack her while she is carrying out this attack.
Other than these, there are not many moves to worry about. On defeating her, the Secrets at the Heart of the Lake quest gets updated.
With that, go the fields and continue the climb up to arrive at the Engine Giant Remains bell. Thankfully, destroying the body of the third master does not require a boss fight (though the game makes that up shortly with a spate of boss fights).
Mandate Master’s Memory Flower (3/3)
The well back at the bell is now open and we can enter that. For now, get the Mandate Master’s Memory Flower 3. The Conspiracy to complete the set. Take the ladder and loot the chest to get Solvent, Polished Twinned Metal, and Concentrated Solvent, as well as the Weapon Reforge Talisman.
Firefly’s Memory Flower (6/6)
Then, make your way down, get rid of the enemies in the fields. Cross the tree log, and get the final Firefly’s Memory Flower 4. The Source of Calamity. Loot the chest to get Exotic Copper Ingot and Precision Mechanical Gear.
Picking up the Dahuang side quest
Use the rope, jump down, and clear out the enemies to open the gates to the hub area for the Village of Lu. Ring the Survivors’ Courtyard bell. Before we interact with the NPCs here, a couple of things to close. Climb onto the ledge to get to the building with the red lit lanterns to pick up the Dahuang quest, and Incense Ash.
Amber Shard (3/4)
Now, when approaching the house with the red lit lanterns, there will be a path just to the left of the entrance, that you can go to and is easily missable. I have highlighted this from a distance in the image above. Get there, and on your left will be Amber Shard #3.
Quick Hand Zhang Treasure 3/3 | Memory Flower of Villagers of Lu (4/4)
There is also a missable opening that you can climb down to outside the Survivors’ Courtyard, that leads to a Memory Flower of the Villagers of Lu 3. A Solitary Release, and the 3rd and final treasure for the region for Quick Hand Zhang.
Fine Thread (Accessory 7/10)
Return to Quick Hand Zhang with all the treasures to get the Fine Thread accessory.
Agarwood Prayer Beads (Accessory 8/10)
Interact with the monk, give him the Prayer Beads we collected at the Outpost as part of the Leave No One Alive quest, and select ‘I do not believe’. This gets you the Agarwood Prayer Beads accessory.
Next, travel to the Temple of the Blue Fireflies bell, and exit the shrine on the back. Climb down, and jump from where the NPC next to the Broken Puppet Pit Entrance bell encourages you to do so. You will now be in a fight with Dusk, The Puppeteer boss.
Dusk, The Puppeteer Boss
The 2 main attacks are a rapid projectile fire, and a series of swipes close up, often with a red glowing attack in the end. Both are to be parried to bring down his Sha-Chi. In between, he will call in puppets. You can get them in the line of fire of the projectiles and they will take damage.
Concentrate on the boss, and keep taking down others in between. They will all be closely clustered, so inevitably, damaging the boss will cause damage to others who get caught in your melee attacks. In between, it will call upon a giant hand to either push, or shove you. Dodge these attacks.
At about 40% health remaining, he will call in a copy of his own, and you will be fighting 2 bosses, and the minions that it calls upon, and the giant hand push/shove as well. Yes, it does get chaotic. Thankfully, when you take down any 1 of the 2 puppeteers, the boss fight ends.
Puppeteer’s Bell Phantom Edge (Weapon 4/7)
Defeating him gets you the Puppeteer’s Bell Phantom Edge, and the Illusory Pipa Head. Get the Tainted Crystal Shard, and ring the Broken Puppet Pit Bottom bell.
Finally, we are ready to enter the well.
Wulin Fighters’ Memory Flower (2/2)
Get the Wulin Fighter’s Memory Flower 2. Live and Die Together. Ring the Beneath the Well bell, and complete the 5th and final interaction just ahead for the Young Mistress side quest. This is important to get a weapon at the end of an upcoming boss fight – not the one we are about to go into, but the next.
Yuzan, No. 3 Musician Puppet Boss Fight
The key here is parrying, and staying close to the boss. She will release a lot of white stars/flowers, parry those back at her to bring down her Sha-Chi. There will be 2 waves – one with some space in between the white flowers, the second will have these come in a hurry at you. Equip and upgrade the Reflex Vision accessory to make this easier.
The second is a red projectile that she charges up and sends your way. You have to dodge left or right, dodging backwards or towards the boss does not help here.
The third attack is when she plays the Pipa and you see a blue/red field around her. Stay away from this till she stops playing.
Finally, she will ascend and get a huge green AoE sphere in the boss arena. Again, stay well away from it’s range till it disappears.
Heartrend Pipa (Weapon 5/7)
You get the Heartrend Pipa Phantom Edge on defeating Yuzia, No. 3 Musician Puppet. Ring the Puppet Testing Grounds Crane bell and watch the cutscene that reveals more of the backstory as to what transpired between the Order, Mandate and the Maskwalkers.
From the left, get the Puppet Mute’s Blueprint Note, Blazing Darkfire Charcoal, and from the chest: Exotic Copper Ingot and Precision Mechanical Gear.
Picking up the Cui side quest
From the red lit altar, interact with the kid puppet to get the Cui’s Red Ribbon, and start the Cui side quest. Approach the locked gate, and an elevator will drop to your right.
Take that elevator to the top, ring the Lakeside bell, and prepare yourself for an epic fight that few games have been able to match.
Before that, do ensure that you have completed the Young Mistress quest by collecting all 5 ribbons, to trigger the 3rd phase and get all weapons at the end of the fight.
Mu Xiaokui Boss Fight
This is a boss fight that builds over 3 phases – both in terms of pace, music and sheer spectacle.
Phase 1 starts with Mu dishing out blue and red arcs, and slashes. This is a pure, one on one, sword combat that demands you to be precise at parrying and taking advantage of red glowing attacks.
Phase 2 picks up with Mu channeling her 2 guardians – the Iron Fiend and the Jade Dancer. So, the sword gets replaced by punches, slams and kicks, and in between she will also do special attacks that resemble the ones done by these – as the fight becomes more frantic.
Phase 3 is when she completely gives over to the two guardians – so, both of them square off against you, and it is here where the background score, the setting and the frantic dodges, parrying and attacking get you going the way few boss fights match.
Fist Fragment: Core | Fiend Saws | Wild Oriole Sword (Weapons 6/7 & 7/7)
Once you finally defeat them, there is a QTE – which, on successfully completing, ends the fight. You get the Puppet no. 44’s Eye required to progress the story, Fist Fragment: Core, Fiend Saws weapon, and the Wild Oriole Sword.
Amber Shard (4/4) – Missable
Now, it is critical that you grab the Amber Shard #4 from here – once you take the elevator back down, this area gets sealed off and inaccessible. The chest is located just below the sprawling tree that is visible from a distance.
A Puppet’s Wooden Heart (Accessory 9/10)
Complete A Puppet’s Wooden Heart quest to get the accessory.
Blackstone Shard (4/4)
Now, use the Puppet’s Eye to open the locked gate, and take the right. This will lead to a room with:
- an enemy straight ahead that we need to defeat to open up a blocked Red Thread path on the left, and the final Blackstone Shard for the Village of Lu
- the Tunnel Cage Key on the left
- the library with 7 Notes to collect here: Unfinished Scripture of the Lady, Secret Report on Dusk, Thread-Binding Sect Member’s Letter, Sevenfold Medicinal Journal, Letter from the High Elder, Letter to the High Elder, and Puppet Base Ledger Expansion; and a chest with Refined Indigo Crystal; on the right.
Complete all of the above, retrace your steps, and take the left to the now-unblocked path. Here, you will arrive at the above intersection, where the left has an elevator that will take you to Pangzhen. However, before that, go the right, speak to the Trapped Thief, and then use the Tunnel Cage Key to open the door.
He will hand you the Village of Lu Cellar Key. With that done, go towards the elevator, pick the Illusory Incense Ash, Puppet Base Construction Note, and Puppet Base Ledger First Experimental Base Note. Go to Old Man Gen, get the Old Man Gen’s Brass Key to update The Journey Home quest, and then to Lan Shaodi to progress their quests.
Remnant Spark Cage (Accessory 10/10)
Get to Smuggler’s Treasure Cellar, and from there go to the back to spot a ladder going down. Open the gate with the key, to get Solvent, Traversal Talisman, Phantom Reforge Talisman, Incense Ash, and Remnant Spark Cage accessory.
With that done, finally, make your way to the elevator, and open the gate. Here, there is a path straight ahead, and a ladder to your left. Get the Hidden Passage to Pangzhen bell up ahead, and then, take the ladder first.
Go ahead and loot the chest to get Solvent, Concentrated Solvent, and Polished Twinned Metal. Open the gate … which leads to the area where we had fought Master Bi Hai, and interacted with the Wounded Thief.
Now, take the ladder back and go straight past the bell to end the Heartless Remnants Chapter, as we make it to Pangzhen.
If you have followed this walkthrough, by now, you should have obtained 7 Weapons + Phantom Edges, 10 Accessories + Medicines, 4 Amber Shards, 4 Blackstone Shards, 1 Challenge, and 15 Memory Flowers. The last Memory Flower unlocks a while later, after you complete Pangzhen.
