Lies Of P Overture: How To Find & Decrypt Bloody Cipher Machine
You get the Bloody Cipher Machine by defeating the Two-Faced Overseer. Take this to the Tracker in Eventide Hotel Krat, and the decoded text points to a crocodile exhibit in the zoo. Travel to the Hall of Adventure Stargazer, and take the steps to enter the exhibition room on the left, which has that crocodile display shown in the picture. As you approach the exhibit, you get an action prompt to ‘Press the button’. You get the Confession: Crocodile Necropsy Report. Take this back to the Tracker, and select the first option, ‘Report on the Dark Secrets’.
This completes the Bloody Cipher Machine, and you get a Whirlwind Amulet as your reward.
Lies Of P Overture: How To Find & Decode Corroded Cipher Machine
Defeat the Bulldozer to get the Corrupted Cipher Machine. Take it to the Tracker, who helps decode and point towards the location for the collectible. Head back to the Mining Ergo Site, and take the following path:
- Jump down and make your way to the ladder. After climbing, take the shaft across to the other side.
- Take the right, past the narrow path with explodable barrels and crates kept in the middle.
- Keep taking the right path till you arrive at the long bridge in the centre and a smaller one on the right.
- Cross the bridge, and you will see an interactable wall on the left.
- Throw any explosive at the wall to reveal a hidden area.
- Enter that area and investigate the skeleton to get the Misfit’s Diary
Take this back to the Tracker, and you will get an Ancient Disk as your reward
Lies Of P Overture: How To Find & Decrypt the Frosted Cipher Machine
The Frosted Cipher Machine is obtained after defeating the Elite enemy at the end of Archon Fleet Shipwrecks in a silver safe. The path that you need to take is part of the main quest, so is non-missable. The Tracker this time expresses his inability to decode this, and requests you to get the ‘garments of any suspicious persons’, as he is confident that they will reveal secret pockets that hold the key to this Frosted Cipher Machine. You now need to defeat the Leader of the Bastards first before proceeding. Once you do that, you have the clue to progress on this one.
However, before proceeding ahead, purchase the Giant’s Amulet from the merchant right next to the Archon Fleet Shipwrecks Stargazer. Go to the Krat Lighthouse Stargazer, and climb down the stairs till you see a shaft door on the floor. Equip the Giant’s Amulet and step on the shaft to reveal a secret passage straight ahead. Collect the Lighthouse Keeper’s Journal and speak to the Tracker to receive the Famed Detective Coat & Hat as a reward.
This will lead to the Tracker wondering if the terrible truths will ever be revealed to the people of Krat, and you will get two choices as usual. If you select the one on the right, you get the ‘Survivor’ gramophone record.
