By Pranshu AryanMay 6, 20263 Mins Read

    Summary

    • You must recruit certain units to construct new buildings at the Twilight Hollow base in Heroes of Might and Magic Olden Era.
    • There are three units in the area that you need to add to your side to unlock this feature.
    • After this, you can start constructing new buildings.

If you have been playing Heroes of Might and Magic Olden Era, you might be familiar with the Twilight Hollow base. This acts as a home to your party, and you can construct various buildings to support your adventures here. However, this entire function is locked at first. You have to follow the steps below to construct new buildings.

The Twilight Hollow can be unlocked once you start the Into the Woods Main Mission. It cannot be unlocked before that. This starts after the Garner Hills Main Mission.

Once you are here, you can interact with Twilight Hollow to start the Abandoned Outpost mission.

You need to recruit three wandering troops and bring them back to the base with you. Firstly, take the path south-west, which leads to a Safe House that acts as the Infiltrator’s dwelling. Interact with the Safe House to start a conversation with the Infiltrators. You can now recruit them by spending 1495 gold.

Secondly, go east and a little bit south from this location to reach the Amphitheater or the Dancer’s dwelling. Once again, interact with the place to start another conversation. Do not worry about any combat, as none of these interactions can turn hostile. Pay 1280 gold to recruit them to your cause.

Finally, we have the Troglodytes remaining. Return to the Twilight Hollow base, and take the path east from here. You will see an interactable Warren, which houses the Troglodytes you are searching for. Pay 1350 gold and recruit the final member of the wandering troops.

This will unlock various starting buildings for the Twilight Hollow, including the Warren, Safe House, and Mage Guild. You can now click on the Twilight Hollow button on the right side of the screen and construct new buildings whenever you choose (as long as you have the materials, of course).
