In Dune Awakening, completing contracts for Trainers gets you advanced skill unlocks for that Class. Seron Varlin is a trainer for the Swordmaster class, and has a series of quests for you to complete, starting with A Tormented Soul. Dune Awakening: Seron Varlin Location
Seron Varlin is in the north-west section of Harko village, and requires you to take an Ornithopter south of the Hagga Basin world map. Alternatively, you can also pay a Ornithopter pilot at a Trading Post 2500 Solari if you don’t have one yet. Either ways, we highly recommend doing it this way rather than make the journey on foot.
How To Complete Tormented Soul Quest In Dune Awakening
Seron Varlin will ask you to get the hilt of his old Ginaz sword, and the contract details will point out to visiting Hannivar’s, the local bar in town, for further information. Search the bar and you will spot an empty table at the back, which has the required clue to interact with, and the next person to visit is Elara Tuek.
Head to the area with all blue glowing lights to find Elara, and complete the interaction with her to get your next destination -the Sandflies base north of Hagga Basin. Before heading out, ensure that you speak to Seron Varlin to get the quest update logged in.
Take the Ornithopter to the Pinnacle Station Tradepost, from there the Sandflies camp is at the western edge in the Eastern Shield Wall region. Watch out for the leader who comes equipped with a Flamethrower. Once he is taken care of, loot the body to get the sword hilt.
Travel back to Seron, and inform him that you have got his sword hilt, and with that the quest is complete, with level 2 skills for the Swordmaster unlocked alongwith 700 XP and 5500 Solari.
