Summary
- Flawless Stone and Flawless Timber are late-game upgrade materials in Crimson Desert.
- You will need the Expert Mining and Expert Logging traits to get these materials.
- These are only available on the Mining Knuckledrill and the Demenissian Chainsaw.
If you are refining your armor and weapons to higher ranks, you might need Flawless Timber and Flawless Stone in Crimson Desert. Unfortunately, these cannot be obtained by simply cutting down trees or breaking rocks like regular Stone and Timber. You will need two specific weapons and refine them to a certain level to acquire a specific trait needed to obtain these items.
How To Get Flawless Stone in Crimson Desert

You need the Expert Mining trait to have a chance of getting this item. From what we know for now, the Mining Knuckledrill seems to be the only weapon that has this trait. Even this weapon will not have this at its base level.
When we first received the weapon, it came with the Mining Mastery trait. However, this changed once we refined the weapon to rank 6.
After this is done, find any rock and use the Knuckledrill to mine it. You will now be able to obtain Flawless Stone. This will also help you get more Diamonds and other mining materials.
Note: From testing, we have noticed that the Knuckledrill drops fewer ores at base compared to a regular pickaxe. However, the additional chance to get more ore seems to activate after you pick up the ore itself. Thus, some players recommend using regular pickaxes to get multiple ores and then equipping the Knuckledrill before picking it up.
How To Get Flawless Timber in Crimson Desert

The process for getting this material is similar to that of Stone. You need the Expert Logging trait to have a chance of getting this resource. This trait is available on the Demenissian Chainsaw weapon.
Same as the Knuckledrill, it will initially have the Logging Mastery trait, which gets upgraded to Expert tier once you refine it to rank 6. Once you are done with the refinement process, take the weapon and use it on any tree you can find. You will now start getting Flawless Timber, which is used to craft various items.
Note: The Deminissian Chainsaw is better than other regular logging axes because it does not have any durability. This means that it will not break no matter how much you use it.
