How to Find Vikhana’s Tools
The path to finding Vikhana’s Tools in Absolum is not very straightforward. Her special tools are hidden deep in Jaroba, and even the path leading to them is also, in a sense, hidden.
Finding the way

Once you accept the request to retrieve tools, Vikhana will point you in Jaroba’s general direction. The Vikhana’s Tools quest will now be marked on your map. To pinpoint the actual location of the tools, follow these steps:
- Make your way to the Third Node.
- In the third node, you can spot the Resting Heartroot Spot.
- After reaching the Heartroot Spot, go towards the lower-right side of the screen.
- You will uncover a hidden pathway blocked by vines.
- Attack the vines to clear a path.
- Traverse the newfound path to enter the Green Maze.
Surviving the Green Maze

- The Green Maze will contain your average adventure with some enemies to slash through and areas to explore.
- Go about exploring the area.
- When you reach the fifth node, you will come face-to-face with a Boss called The Beast, Fallen Guardian.

Defeat this boss to gain access to the Hidden Sanctuary.
Finding Vikhana’s Tools in Absolum Hidden Sanctuary

Once you reach the Hidden Sanctuary, you will be able to easily spot Vikhana’s Tools in a large chest. The chest is found near the lake. Retrieve the tools and give them back to Vikhana during your next run.

Returning the Tools to Vikhana
The easiest way to return Vikhana’s Tools in Absolum is to find her in the game’s Main Sanctuary and offer the tools. Apart from the main sanctuary, you can also randomly find Vikhana in some of the non-boss rooms of the game.
Benefits of Returning Vikhana’s Tools

After you give her the tools back, Vikhana will weep with joy and offer you more potent use of her ritualistic abilities. After getting the tools back, Vikhana can:
- Appear randomly during runs in any rooms that don’t house any Bosses.
- Offer to upgrade any one of the 8 Rituals in the game at no extra cost.
- Offer stronger upgrades than ones that can be purchased.
- Provide rare level boosts to your existing rituals.
Note: Even after giving Vikhana’s Tools back, her appearance or spawning in non-boss rooms is pretty random. However, the potency of her freebie upgrades makes the effort definitely worthwhile.

How can I defeat The Beast, Fallen Guardian?
Follow these simple tips to defeat The Beast and unlock Hidden Sanctuary:
- Keep moving. As with any other Absolum boss fight, The Beast has a variety of attacks (along with root and flower-based minions) at its disposal. Staying nimble and keeping an eye on red stars indicating an oncoming vine attack is important.
- Keep an eye out for smash attacks. Apart from raising attacking roots and flowers from the ground, The Beast will also periodically smash the ground around you. This devastating attack will eat away a major chunk of your health, so avoid it at all costs.
- Focus on destroying the flowers. Destroying the sprouting flowers will ultimately hurt The Beast. Keep on slaying the flowering vines, but beware the bombs they hurl at you.
- Keep an eye out for spikes. In the second phase (after you eat away half of the Beast’s health), it will start raising streaks of spikes to hurt you. These can be conjured horizontally, vertically, and diagonally. Avoid them at all costs. Also, the smash attacks will increase and become faster and more frequent in the second phase.
