Summary
- Shadow Claw is an overpowered ability to use in Crimson Desert.
- You will have to do a lot of main story and faction quests, and then take down the Legendary Wolf to get this skill.
- This also gets you Leebur’s Soul, an item that marks the location of every Legendary Beast in the game.
Crimson Desert has a vast number of builds that can be experimented with, but Shadow Claw can definitely earn its way into the strongest ones. This is a hard-to-obtain, but great skill that is equipped on your weapon. Here is how to start the Legendary Wolf quest line to obtain the Shadow Claw skill.

- Hernandian Parish of Solumen

How To Get the Shadow Claw Abyss Gear in Crimson Desert

If you have started this quest, most of the hard work is already done. After you track this beast to the Forest of Wolves, one final challenge remains in your way. This is the Legendary Wolf itself, Black Fang.
Go through the quest until you reach the boss fight. If you are successful in defeating it, then you will get the Shadow Claw Abyss Gear, alongside the Leebur’s Soul. This is a particularly great item, as it marks the location of all the Legendary Animals on your map.
This is extremely useful when you are looking to fight some strong mobs or get some Legendary horses as mounts.
Why is Shadow Claw Overpowered in Crimson Desert

This gear adds a special ability to your weapon when you attack. Upon pressing RT/R2, in addition to your regular attack, it performs three additional slashes in front of you.
This is not only a great boost to your damage in general, but also great because it synergizes well with other Abyss Gears like the Crowcaller, which also activates on the same button input.
