The Epic Minigames’ Halloween Spotlight Questline is split (as usual) into two quests – Rune Quest and Key Quest. Completing both will reward you with a Rune and a Key. Both can be used to claim new avatars, stickers, and tokens.

Epic Minigames’ Steve Questline – Complete Guide

Steve’s Questline will have you hunting for three main ingredients for a special potion Steve is brewing. Following these steps will lead to completion of this Rune Quest:

1. Locate Steve in the Lobby.
2. Steve is the Green NPC wearing a Tuxedo, standing next to a cauldron.
3. Talk to him to start the quest.
4. He will ask you to find the Recipe first.
5. The Recipe can randomly drop anytime in any mini-game.
6. Start playing any and all mini-games until you find one with the recipe.
7. The recipe will appear as a rolled up scroll, glowing in golden light.
8. Once you acquire the recipe, it will tell you list of required ingredients.
9. You need three ingredients to complete the quest.
10. The required ingredients are: Spooky Herb, Scary Herb, and Skeleton Herb.
11. Like recipe, these ingredients will also randomly drop in any mini-game.
12. Spooky Herbs will generally drop in survival-based mini-games, Scary in team, and Skeleton in racing-based mini-games.
13. Start playing all minigames until all three ingredients drop.
14. Similar to the recipe, these ingredients will also appear to be glowing in golden light.
15. The ingredients will usually drop mid-game, so you’ll need to finish the game and then collect the ingredient.
16. Once you have the recipe as well as the three ingredients, head back to the Lobby to see Steve.
17. Add the ingredients in Steve’s cauldron in the right order to get the rune.
18. The right order for everyone is a bit different, so check your ingredient list to know the right order for you.
19. Collect your reward i.e. Rune.

How To Complete Epic Minigames’ Entire Halloween Spotlight Questline?

To complete Epic Minigames’ Entire Halloween Spotlight Questline, you will need to find three NPCs who will give you three unique quests. These NPCs can be found in the lobby. Read on to find out their locations, and details of the quest they will give you.

Quest One: The Werewolf

1. Go into the Lobby.
2. Go up the stairs and move all the way to the left to locate the Werewolf.
3. Talk to the Werewolf to start the quest.
4. Go downstairs to the Shop.
5. Buy the Soul Lantern in exchange for 100 Tokens.
6. Equip the Lantern from your Backpack.
7. Go upstairs and talk to the Werewolf again.
8. This will start the Counter indicating how many Ghosts you have banished.
9. Approach the Green Ghosts spawning all over the Lobby and simply click on them (while the Lantern is equipped) to banish them.
10. Keep clicking and banishing the ghosts until the counter is full.
11. Get your reward i.e. Candy and move on.

Quest Two: Mr. Monster

1. Go into the Lobby.
2. Go halfway up the stairs.
3. You can find Mr. Monster standing there on a ledge, next to a Dice Decoration.
4. Talk to Mr. Monster (a Frankenstein’s Monster wearing sunglasses) to start the quest. This will trigger a new, random mini-game to start.
5. When a new mini-game is triggered, look for the specific Trafigurator Gun.
6. You can spot the gun by looking for its golden glow.
7. Talk to Mr. Monster once again to start the counter.
8. When you get and equip the gun, start looking for Crystallised Trick-or-Treat Buckets.
9. These buckets can be found in any random mini-games spread across the lobby.
10. Once you find and shoot three buckets, you will have successfully completed this quest.
11. Collect your Candy and move on.

Quest Three: Count Tenance

1. Go into the Lobby.
2. Go up the stairs and move all the way to the right to locate Count Tenance.
3. Talk to Count Tenance to start the quest.
4. He will ask you to hunt for three spider eggs hidden across the lobby area.
5. Simply follow the table below to find all the eggs and return them to the Count for reward.

1	First egg can be found behind bench & boxes in the Spawn Square
2	Second egg can be found by going up the right staircase into Coin Lobby section. Once you pass through the doorway, the egg will be on the left side.
3	Third egg can be found in the left side of the Middle House. Inside the house, look behind the crates placed near corner island. You will need to cross the river to get this egg.

Which individual quest should I complete first?

We recommend that you start with Steve’s quest so you can get your hands on the rune first. The rest of the questline will take longer to finish, but they can be played simultaneously.

How can I play the three Key quests simultenously?

Before you start working towards any of the individual Key Quests, we recommend talking to all three NPCs first. This will start all three quests for you simultaneously. You can then go ahead and play random mini-games to finish all three quests. You can also finish them on-by-one, which will take longer.

What is the reward on completing this, and where is it used for?

You get the Spooky Alchemist (Rune) and Steve’s Little Helper (Key) badges. These get counted as part of the overall platform-wide Halloween event from Oct 23, 2025 to Nov 3, 2025.
