Grow a Garden 2 expands the farming experience with over 30 different crops ranging from humble Carrots to ultra-rare Super Seeds like Moon Bloom and Dragon’s Breath. Every plant has its own rarity, cost, harvest type, and selling value, making it important to know which seeds are worth investing in as you progress.

In this guide, I have listed every seed currently available in Grow a Garden 2, including Seed Shop crops, premium Ghost Pepper Pack plants, and the crops that come with special defensive abilities.

How to Get Seeds in Grow a Garden 2

There are several ways to unlock new crops in Grow a Garden 2. You can select any of the methods below to obtain seeds:

    Buy from Sam’s Seed Shop

The primary way to obtain seeds is through Sam’s Seed Shop in the middle of the map. The shop refreshes every five minutes and stocks seeds from Common all the way up to Super rarity, although high-tier crops appear much less frequently.

    • Open Ghost Pepper Packs: The Ghost Pepper Pack is a premium Seed Pack available for Robux. Each roll has a chance of rewarding one of five exclusive plants, including the Mythic Ghost Pepper.
    • Get Seeds from Pets: The Legendary Robin pet can occasionally dig up random Seed Shop plants while you’re tending your garden.
    • Collect Rainbow and Gold Seeds: Weather events can spawn Rainbow and Gold Seeds around the server. These grow into random Seed Shop crops that typically sell for much higher prices than their normal counterparts.

    Crops with Special Abilities

Unlike the original game, several plants now protect your garden from thieves.

    CropAbility
Dragon’s BreathBreathes fire at players attempting to steal crops.
Venom SpitterShoots venom that damages intruders.
Ghost PepperBurns players trying to steal.
Poison IvyDamages anyone touching the plant.
Venus Fly TrapBites nearby players, deals massive damage, and steals some Sheckles.
MushroomLaunches players high into the air when jumped on.
    CactusDamages players on contact.

These defensive crops become increasingly valuable on busy public servers where theft is common.

    Best Seeds to Buy First

If you’re just getting started, I wouldn’t rush toward the expensive Legendary or Mythic crops. A steady progression is far more profitable.

    • Start with Carrots to build your first few Sheckles.
    • Upgrade to Strawberries and Blueberries since they’re multi-harvest plants and generate consistent income.
    • Once you can afford them, prioritize Tomatoes and Bamboo, both of which offer excellent value for their price.
    • Push into Epic crops like Mushroom, Green Bean, and Mango before saving for Legendary plants.
    • After reaching the late game, focus on Dragon Fruit, Cherry, Sunflower, and eventually the Mythic and Super seeds. Let these crops sit longer to accumulate mutations before harvesting for maximum profit.

How many seeds are there in Grow a Garden 2?

There are currently 31 different crop seeds, including Seed Shop plants and Ghost Pepper Pack exclusives.

What is the rarest seed in Grow a Garden 2?

Dragon’s Breath is currently the rarest purchasable Seed Shop crop, costing 90 million Sheckles and belonging to the Super rarity.

    Which crops are multi-harvest?

Several crops can be harvested multiple times, including Strawberry, Blueberry, Tomato, Apple, Corn, Banana, Coconut, Dragon Fruit, Cherry, Pomegranate, and many others.

Can you get seeds without buying them?

Yes. Besides purchasing them from Sam’s Seed Shop, you can obtain seeds through Ghost Pepper Packs, the Robin pet, and random Rainbow or Gold Seed weather events.
