GTA 6 weapons are already being confirmed one by one, and if you’re counting down the days to November 19, 2026 while analyzing every new screenshot from the Ultimate and the Standard Editions, then welcome to the club.I’ve been trying to figure out weapons we’ve seen, not only from the recently released screenshots but also from previous trailers, as there’s more to it than meets the eye.
Currently, I’m sitting at around 20 weapons, give or take, which are confirmed to appear in Rockstar’s upcoming title. So, quench your thirst and take a look at the absolute units you’ll get your hands on when the game releases later this year.
List of All Confirmed GTA 6 Weapons
So far, we’ve had a pretty hefty amount of weapons confirmed for GTA 6, thanks to its official trailers, promotional images and the Ultimate Edition bonuses. I’m not going to indulge in the leaks, since I’m only discussing the ones that Rockstar has officially confirmed. I’ve listed all the confirmed weapons we’ve seen in the official trailers and promotional images released by Rockstar, including information from the recently released Ultimate Edition and Vintage Vice City Pre-Order bonuses on their official website. Now, there will obviously be many more than the ones listed above, and if I’m to go by the leaks, the list will expand further.
Additionally, I don’t know if using a fishing rod as a melee weapon is on the cards, as seen in Jason Duval 03 Promotional Image, since this wasn’t an option in Red Dead Redemption 2, where fishing was a big part of the experience. However, it’s worth noting that nearly a decade has passed since Red Dead 2’s release. Things might change.

Now that I’ve got the confirmed GTA 6 weapons out of the way, let’s take a look at the rumored weapons that might appear in the game according to leaks:

Some of these rumored weapons, like the Grenades, the Rocket Launcher, and the Knife, are staples of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, so there’s no reason to believe that they would not appear in GTA 6. Yet, these are still rumored, so take them with a grain of gunpowder.
If Rockstar decides to release the third trailer, then we might see more weapons in play. What we do know is that GTA 6 will have a loadout system, as stated on the game’s Ultimate Edition page. How far this mechanic will go is unknown right now, as I’m in the same boat analyzing every new screenshot to reduce the 5-month wait to November.
