    How to Get Story Team Players in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road

    Apart from reintroducing a massive roster of characters from all the previous entries in the franchise, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road also offers a host of brand-new Story Team Player Characters. This guide details how to make them part of your team

    Guide to getting Story Team Players in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road

    Unlocking all Story Team Players is an easy yet time-consuming activity in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road. Here’s how you can start your journey:

    1. Complete the Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road’s Story Mode.
    2. Open Chronicle Mode.
    3. Choose the players you want to unlock.
    4. Play a match against the team they’re in.
    5. Win the match.
    6. After you win this match, these players will be available as enemies.
    7. You will also gain some of these characters as playable characters.
    8. Check your Spirits tab.
    9. Unlockable Story Mode Characters will appear there.
    10. You can now unlock them as Level 1 characters.

    Bear in mind that Story Mode characters are considered a rare drop during your first run in the Chronicle Mode. Chances are, you’ll have to grind for a while before you can unlock all of them.

    If you still cannot find your preferred story mode characters, you may want to try the following alternate route:

    1. Complete the Story Mode.
    2. Open the Chronicle Mode.
    3. Access Player Universe.
    4. Open Victory Constellation.
    5. Get Currency.
    6. Start a high difficulty match.
    7. You will be able to summon Story Mode players in these matches.
    8. Win the matches to get them as drops in your Spirits tab.

    What is the best way to unlock Story Team players?

    Playing through the Chronicle Mode seems to be the only viable way to achieve this. Apart from the characters you unlock through the Story Mode, the only way to unlock Story Team Characters is through the Chronicle Mode.

    How to unlock legacy characters in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road?

    You can unlock various legacy characters by entering the Competition Mode. This mode lets you test your mettle against every team featured throughout the series. After each win, the game will offer some of your opponents as redeemable spirits.

    Story Team Players can usually be found under ‘Common Characters’ in Victory Constellation in the Chronicle Mode. You can unlock and level them up faster to gain some pretty strong team players for future runs.
