Zeal and Gratitude are the two rarest tokens in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road. They can be used to purchase a host of in-game items and become incredibly valuable, especially towards the endgame. This guide details the best way to farm them!
How to Farm Zeal and Gratitude — Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road
There are three possible ways to get your hands on Zeal and Gratitude tokens in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road:
- Enemy Battle Drops
- Mini-Game Drops
- Soccer Match Drops
Out of these three, only the first two are viable, as far as farming these tokens is concerned. While Soccer Matches hypothetically can reward you with these tokens, their drop rate is extremely low and highly unreliable. Hence, we’ll be focusing on the first two methods in this guide.
1. Enemy Battle Drops

The best way to farm Zeal and Gratitude tokens in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is to engage in Enemy Battles spread throughout the game’s map in Story Mode. You need to seek out various enemies or Story Mode players that are challenging you and battle them to gain tokens. While this trick works for all seven types of tokens, this guide will focus only on the rarest of them all, i.e., Zeal and Gratitude. Here’s how to go about it:
- Go to the Settings.
- Enable ‘2 times RPG Battle Speed‘.
- Go to any of the locations mentioned below.
- Find the associated Enemy.
- Challenge them to battle.
- Choose the highest difficulty for the highest rewards.
- When the battle begins, press the Left Stick to employ Auto Battle.
- Win the battle and get the reward.
The following table highlights the locations and enemy players you need to battle to gain these tokens:
| Location | Enemy | Reward Drop |
| Nagumohara Junior High (Outside) | Judo Club | Zeal |
| Nagumohara Junior High (Outside) | Lovestruck Teacher | Gratitude |
| Downtown | Aggressive Delinquent | Zeal |
| Odaiba Lodging Area | Pushy Magazine Reporter | Gratitude |
| Odaiba Main Area | Brazen Boy | Zeal |
Note: If you have recruited an enemy player from the list above as a member of your team, then you will need to remove them before you can engage in battle. Just kick the concerned player from your team, and they’ll be present at the aforementioned locations to challenge you to battle.
2. Mini-Game Drops

Unlike the first of the five tokens, there is no single training minigame that can be used to farm Zeal and Gratitude. However, every single one of these minigames has a chance of rewarding you with one Zeal Token each time you complete it. There is no guarantee that you will get Zeal, so this isn’t the best way to farm the Red and Blue tokens.
On the other hand, there is a consistent way to farm Gratitude tokens by playing a minigame. You can play the ‘Kraken Juggling Minigame’ on Cove Beach to farm Gratitude tokens. However, keep in mind that playing this minigame even on the hardest difficulty will only reward you with four to six Gratitude tokens at max.
FAQs
What are the other tokens in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road?
The game offers a total of seven unique tokens. These can be used to purchase various in-game items. Tokens are represented with colored cards. Apart from Zeal (Red) and Gratitude (Blue), other tokens are: Vitality (Orange), Friendship (Green), Love (Pink), Target (Light Blue), and Dream (Yellow).
What are Zeal and Gratitude tokens used for?
These tokens are used for various purposes in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road. Mainly, they can be used to purchase multiple in-game items to change your players’ appearance. Furthermore, you also need five of each to buy an essential in-game item called ‘New Possibilities’. You also need to spend these tokens to buy new team tactics, such as Keyman Lockdown.
How to get the most tokens in a single Enemy Battle?
While playing Story Mode, engage in every Enemy Battle at least once. Once you beat them, a fourth difficulty, i.e., Challenging, will be unlocked. Playing and winning enemy battles on the Challenging Difficulty will give off the most amount of Zeal and Gratitude tokens.
How can I increase my token-farming efficiency?
If you’ve sat down with the only objective of farming these tokens, being mindful of the cooldown timings is extremely important. Cycle through all battles by fast traveling. All of these players have a certain cooldown time, so you can’t simply stand in one spot and replay a battle over and over. Instead, cycle through all five battles, so each enemy will have enough time to cool down and challenge you once again.
