Summary
- Version 1.01.00 of Crimson Desert added a new Legendary White Bear mount.
- However, you first need to defeat the Legendary Creature in battle.
- Afterwards, you can summon it to travel the open world, and even fight in combat.
When Crimson Desert first launched on March 19, 2026, it had a plethora of summonable mounts available, but the White Bear was not one of them. This was added post Version 1.01.00, and you can now obtain this new summon. However, this process will take you on a long trek into Pailune.
Where Is the Legendary White Bear Mount in Crimson Desert

The Legendary White Bear is found in Pailune, specifically to the west of the Silver Wolf Mountain, and north-east of the Five-Finger Mountain.

You can get information on all Legendary Beasts by killing the Black Fang, which drops an item called Leebur’s Soul upon being defeated. Using it will give you knowledge about the locations of all 24 Legendary Beasts in Pywel. This naturally includes the White Bear as well.

How To Get the Legendary White Bear Mount in Crimson Desert

You have to fight and defeat the White Bear first. After that, skin it to get White Bear Claws. This is a key item that cannot be sold, so don’t worry about discarding or selling it.
Your next step is simple: take the item to any Witch (we went to Elowen in The Witchwoods). Interact with her and select the Craft button to open a new menu. Here, switch tabs until you get to the Special Items page.
Select the Sigil of Solidarity (White Bear) and craft it using the newly acquired White Bear Claws. Lastly, open your inventory and use the Sigil. This will register the White Bear as a mount that you can summon and ride freely.

FAQs

Can you attack enemies with these mounts?
Yes, unlike a horse, the bear has a lot of health, which makes it a decent choice for combat use. You can attack by pressing RT/R2 on the controller.
