Crimson Desert – All Strongbox Puzzles Complete Guide (WIP)

• Each of these puzzles is found in a different location and requires a lot of thinking to solve.
• You will also want to equip a Mask to steal the items rewarded upon completion.

Crimson Desert Strongbox Puzzles are quite complex and difficult to solve, especially when you are constantly being distracted by another secret around the corner. Fortunately, I was able to solve some of them, and this guide will show you how to do the same.

Bluemont Manor Crimson Desert Strongbox Puzzle – 1 Solution

This might be the first Strongbox Puzzle you encounter, because it is found in Hernand Town. Head to Bluemont Manor (as the name of the puzzle indicates), and walk through the front door and climb up the stairs. Interact with the puzzle and follow these steps:

• Second button three times.
• Third button four times.
• First button three times.
• Fourth button once.
• First button once.
• Second button once.

Bluemont Manor Crimson Desert Strongbox Puzzle – 2 Solution

This is another puzzle found in the same area. Simply head to the building south of here to arrive at this location. This one is easier than the last one, too. Interact with each rotating board to ensure that the cylinders line up perfectly with one another.

The steps to solve this puzzle are:

• Spin the first five times.
• Spin the second wheel two times.
• Spin the third wheel four times.
• Spin the fourth wheel three times.
• Spin the fifth wheel five times.

After the cylinders are lined up, hit the button on the right side, and the Strongbox will open.

Lioncrest Manor Crimson Desert Strongbox Puzzle Solution

When I first approached this place, the guards at the front door were quick to give me the boot. However, the simple way to sneak inside is by using the window instead of the door.

Head to the second floor of the building, and you will find a ‘broken’ painting. Your task is to rotate the messed-up pieces so that the painting gets fixed. The fixed version of the painting will be seen above.

Hernand Castle Crimson Desert Strongbox Puzzle Solution

You might remember this castle from the tutorial. Well, there is a Strongbox Puzzle here as well. Go to the stairs near the Alchemist’s Room, and climb up to the third floor. You will have to press the keys in a specific order to open the puzzle.

Hillside Manor Crimson Desert Strongbox Puzzle Solution

Head to the second floor of the Hillside Manor. If the guards do not let you in, have no fear; they do not mind you breaking and entering via the windows.

This might be one of the toughest puzzles you have to solve, as it does not give any clear indication of what needs to be done. There will be five cylinders that have to be lined up properly. Each of them has a button below that can be used to raise or lower it:

• First Button: Two notches down
• Second Button: Three notches down
• Third Button: Four notches down
• Fourth Button: Five notches down
• Fifth Button: Five notches down

Mudridge Cabin Crimson Desert Strongbox Puzzle Solution

At Mudridge Cabin, you’ll find another Strongbox Puzzle to solve. This is a jumbled painting that must be fixed by moving the pieces into their correct locations (similar to the Lioncrest Manor puzzle). The direction to move the pieces is:

Church of the West Demeniss Strongbox Puzzle Solution

This Strongbox Puzzle is part of the Secret at the Church quest. You have to solve this puzzle to obtain the relic inside. This is a 3×3 grid puzzle, and you have to press the tiles in the correct order to solve it:

• Top Left
• Bottom Right
• Top Right
• Bottom Left

Reward: Dagger of Radiance (the quest item also referred to as the church’s relic)

Western Court Strongbox Puzzle Solution

This puzzle will be similar to the Mudridge Cabin puzzle. You will see a 3×3 grid, with eight tiles to move. It is located on the second floor of the building. This is a simple puzzle (albeit a bit long) if you follow the given steps:

Stellen Manor Strongbox Puzzle Solution

This is another piano tiles puzzle, which is on the second floor of the manor. The order you have to press the keys in is:

Reward: Stellen Manor Closet Key

Arboria Castle Strongbox Puzzle Solution

This is similar to the Hillside Manor Strongbox Puzzle, where you have to turn the rotating boards a specific number of times until all the pieces align together. The castle itself is found in the Hills of No Return, which lies between Hernand and Demeniss. After entering the castle, turn right and follow the path until you reach a dark room.

The solution to this puzzle is to listen for the number of clicks while you rotate it down. Make sure that the number of clicks matches the solution below:

• Turn the first key down three times. (Six clicks)
• Turn the second key down four times. (Eight clicks)
• Turn the third key down five times. (Ten clicks)
• Turn the fourth key down four times. (Eight clicks)
• Turn the fifth key down two times. (Four clicks)

Reventine Monastery Strongbox Puzzle Solution

Head in through the back door of the monastery and turn left. You will see a bookshelf at the end of the hallway. Keep walking and push through the bookshelf to reveal a hidden room behind it, housing this puzzle. This is another 3×3 grid puzzle, with one missing tile.

The solution for this puzzle is:
