    Summary

    • You will have to slide in Crimson Desert to get through tight spaces and complete challenges.
    • Crouch while you are running to start a short sprint.
    • You will also have to slide continuously for 50m to complete a challenge.

If you are struggling to slide in Crimson Desert, especially over long distances, then do not worry. You are not the only one getting caught on rocks or getting stuck abruptly. Fortunately, this guide will show you how to slide and, afterwards, also complete the 50m slope slide challenge.

Sliding is a simple mechanic in Crimson Desert. If you crouch while sprinting, Kliff (or whichever character you are playing as) transitions from a run to a slide.

Therefore, the steps to follow are:

    • Start sprinting. (Double-tap A on Xbox, X on PlayStation, or Shift on Keyboard and Mouse)
    • While sprinting, tap the crouch button. (Press the Left joystick on a controller, or C on Keyboard)

What is the 50m Slide Challenge in Crimson Desert

You will find a Sealed Abyss Artifact, which is locked behind the task of sliding continuously for 50m. This will be a tough challenge, unless you pick a big enough slope.

You can pick up this Sealed Abyss Artifact at the crossroad between the Goldleaf Trading Post and Bloomwood Ranch.

Where and How to Complete the 50m Slide Challenge in Crimson Desert

Navigate to Unicorn Cliffs, and you will see huge slopes that are going towards the Nas River. This is a decent spot to attempt this challenge, as you have quite a bit of wiggle room.

However, I would suggest finding any sloping road (the one near the Abyss Nexus in Hernand is an easy one to pick) and trying it there. The advantage of roads is clear; you do not have any rocks obstructing your path.

Here are some tips to complete it:

    • If you pick a rocky slope, then try to avoid any particularly large rocks that could break your slide.
    • Secondly, if you pick a road, then avoid the people who might also interrupt your momentum.

    FAQs

What do you get from completing the 50m slide challenge in Crimson Desert?

You get an Abyss Artifact, which is used to enhance and upgrade your skills. So, I would recommend completing this easy challenge quickly if you want to get stronger.

Can you slide with your horse in Crimson Desert?

Yes, as absurd as it sounds, your horse can also slide in the game. Moreover, the steps for the entire process will not change.
