Crimson Desert Strongbox Puzzles are quite complex and difficult to solve, especially when you are constantly being distracted by another secret around the corner. Fortunately, I was able to solve some of them, and this guide will show you how to do the same.

Bluemont Manor Crimson Desert Strongbox Puzzle – 1
This might be the first Strongbox Puzzle you encounter, because it is found in Hernand Town. Head to Bluemont Manor (as the name of the puzzle indicates), and walk through the front door and climb up the stairs. Interact with the puzzle and follow these steps:
- Second button three times.
- Third button four times.
- First button three times.
- Fourth button once.
- First button once.
- Second button once.
Reward: Oath of Darkness Earring
Bluemont Manor Crimson Desert Strongbox Puzzle – 2
This is another puzzle found in the same area. Simply head to the building south of here to arrive at this location. This one is easier than the last one, too. Interact with each rotating board to ensure that the cylinders line up perfectly with one another.
The steps to solve this puzzle are:
- Spin the first five times.
- Spin the second wheel two times.
- Spin the third wheel four times.
- Spin the fourth wheel three times.
- Spin the fifth wheel five times.
After the cylinders are lined up, hit the button on the right side, and the Strongbox will open.

Lioncrest Manor Crimson Desert Strongbox Puzzle
When I first approached this place, the guards at the front door were quick to give me the boot. However, the simple way to sneak inside is by using the window instead of the door.
Head to the second floor of the building, and you will find a ‘broken’ painting. Your task is to rotate the messed-up pieces so that the painting gets fixed. The fixed version of the painting will be seen above.
Reward: Engraved Gold Earring
Hernand Castle Crimson Desert Strongbox Puzzle
You might remember this castle from the tutorial. Well, there is a Strongbox Puzzle here as well. Go to the stairs near the Alchemist’s Room, and climb up to the third floor. You will have to press the keys in a specific order to open the puzzle.

Hillside Manor Crimson Desert Strongbox Puzzle
Head to the second floor of the Hillside Manor. If the guards do not let you in, have no fear; they do not mind you breaking and entering via the windows.
This might be one of the toughest puzzles you have to solve, as it does not give any clear indication of what needs to be done. There will be five cylinders that have to be lined up properly. Each of them has a button below that can be used to raise or lower it:
- First Button: Two notches down
- Second Button: Three notches down
- Third Button: Four notches down
- Fourth Button: Five notches down
- Fifth Button: Five notches down
Reward: Saint’s Necklace
Mudridge Cabin Crimson Desert Strongbox Puzzle
At Mudridge Cabin, you’ll find another Strongbox Puzzle to solve. This is a jumbled painting that must be fixed by moving the pieces into their correct locations (similar to the Lioncrest Manor puzzle). The direction to move the pieces is:
- Down
- Right
- Up
- Right
- Down
- Left
- Up
- Left
Reward: Flower Petal Earring
