    • You can purchase Super Techniques from the Special Training Booth, the VS Store, and the Chronicle Department.
    • Use the Player’s Abilearn Board to equip these Super Techniques.
    • Place multiple Scrolls of the same technique in the same slot to upgrade the Super Technique.

Super Techniques, also known as Special Moves or Hissatsu Techniques, are the cornerstone of the Inazuma Eleven universe. It’s a fun in-game mechanic that uses TP (Technique Points) to launch super-powerful and elemental moves that offer your team a winning edge.

    How to Get Super Techniques

You can purchase new Super Techniques in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road through the Special Training Booth. You can also unlock these Special Moves through both of the Magic Move branches or through VS Stores and Chronicle Department in the Chronicle Mode.

Note: Keep in mind that the collection of Special Moves available in each of the stores mentioned above will increase after you complete unlocking all Moves in Chronicle Mode as well as the Main Story Mode.

    How to Equip Super Techniques

Once you pay the price and unlock a specific Super Technique, use the following steps to equip it:

    1. Select your preferred Player.
    2. Open their Abilearn Board.
    3. Click on any Empty Slot you can see.
    4. Select the desired Super Technique from the pop-up Menu.
    5. Hit Equip.

Note: If you have run out of space in the Abilearn Board, you can easily remedy this by replacing your player’s existing fixed ability. You can read our comprehensive guide on the Abilearn Board to learn how to optimize your Player Build.

    How to Upgrade Super Techniques

You can upgrade these Super Techniques by simply purchasing multiple copies (or Scrolls) and using them on the same player. Here’s how to do it:

    1. Unlock a specific Super Technique.
    2. Equip it in your desired player’s Abilearn Board.
    3. Purchase one or two more scrolls of the same Super Technique from the VS Store or the Special Training Booth.
    4. Place the newly purchased Scrolls on top of the existing Super Technique.
    5. If you place two scrolls in the same slot, you will have a V2 (more powerful version) of the same technique.
    6. If you place three scrolls in the same slot, you will have a V3 (most powerful version) of the same technique.

    FAQs

What’s the best way to unlock new Super Techniques?

The best way to unlock these Super Techniques is to play through the Story Mode. Most of the Super Techniques can be bought from various stores in the Story Mode, such as the Royal Academy Store or the Special Training Booth. Furthermore, it’s also economical to purchase these Super Techniques through Story Mode, as the ones you unlock from Chronicle Mode usually cost more.

What are the different types of Super Techniques in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road?

The game offers five primary types of Super Techniques: Shoot, Dribble, Block, Catch, and Skill. Furthermore, there are three Secondary types of Super Techniques: Shoot Block, Long Shoot, and Shoot Chain. Just like players, these Super Techniques are also divided into four types based on Element: Wind, Fire, Mountain, and Forest.

How can I get Story-specific Super Techniques?

You need to purchase story-specific Super Techniques, such as Penguin Parade or Behemoth Crash, through the Story inside the Story Mode. These Super Techniques can only be purchased in the Story Mode, not in the Chronicle Mode. You can buy them through the Special Training Booth in the Story Mode.

Why can’t a Kenshin character use Super Techniques?

A Kenshin character is an Armored version of a player. These Kenshin characters can only use the Normal Moves of the base player. Kenshin mode boosts all the other stats, but removes the Super Technique or Special Ability. To use Super Techniques associated with the player, you need to de-equip the Armored Mode (i.e., remove the Kenshin armor) and use the Normal version of the player.
