Acquiring Hero Rarity Characters

To unlock Hero players, you need to participate in the Player Universe (Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road’s Gacha System) through the Chronicle Mode. You can purchase Bond Stars and exchange them for Hero characters.
Alternatively, you can also grind away to gain Hero characters by playing high-difficulty Rare Drop Battles and Hero Battles. However, the reported drop rates for Hero characters through Rare Drop Battles and Hero Battles are as low as 0.0001%. So, gathering Bond Stars and unlocking through Player Universe is the only sustainable way to get Hero-tiered characters.
How to Unlock Hero Rarity Characters?
- Earn Bond Stars: You can earn at least 5 Bond Stars simply by playing in Online Ranked matches. Even if you lose them, you will get five stars. Playing in Online Ranked Matches is the best practice for both – unlocking hero characters and quickly leveling up your existing characters.
- Go to Spirits Marketplace and unlock the Hero Character of your choice by exchanging Bond Stars.
FAQs
Which is the highest rarity I can achieve without using the Gacha System?
You can reach up to Legendary Rarity tier without using the in-game Gacha System, i.e., Player Universe.
How can I upgrade my players to a higher rarity tier?
You need to use training beans to upgrade your players to a higher rarity tier. This method is applicable for upgrading the players from Common Player to Legendary rarity tier. Please read our guide on using Training Beans to know how to get them, how to use them wisely, and how to farm them efficiently.
What’s the difference between a Legendary Player and a Hero Player?
The key difference between these two top-most rarities is the associated Passives. Hero-tiered characters swap out their Fighting Spirit ability for a unique Passive ability. This offers them a specialized move set, thereby enhancing their overall build quality. Hero characters are different than Legendary characters because they provide specialized passives as well as build type variations, apart from higher stats.
What are the restrictions on Hero rarity players in Online Matches?
You can only use two Hero rarity players on the field during an Online Match. While you can have up to eight Hero rarity players on the bench, you can only put two of them on the field.
Is unlocking Hero Rarity Characters worth it?
While they offer unique passives that can help you build powerful teams, it’s worthwhile to note that Hero Characters feature the least amount of customization possibilities out of all rarity tiers. Their moves, Abilearn Board progressions, and Passive abilities are all locked. You won’t be able to alter these, unlike Legendary rarity characters. So, it’s best to invest in upgrading the maximum number of your characters to their Legendary rarity tier, and unlock various story mode characters before moving on to unlocking Hero players.
