There are numerous ball combinations available in Ball x Pit, leading to a wide array of evolved balls. These evolutions are often categorized by their base ball type, making it easier to track specific combinations for trophies and achievements. To initiate an evolution, both Special Balls must reach Level 3.

    FAQs

Do Evolved Balls Gain Additional Levels or Stats?

Evolved balls are significantly more powerful than their base components, offering unique abilities and higher damage potential. While the evolved ball itself doesn’t “level up” further in the same way base balls do, its inherent stats and effects are a direct upgrade, offering enhanced damage, area control, or other advantages.

How Do I Know Which Balls Can Be Combined?

The game has an in-game Encyclopedia to track all unlocked entries. Also, you can always experiment with different Level 3 Special Balls during a run. The Evolution Chamber in your townscape is also important for fusions.

What Happens If I Combine Two Balls That Aren’t Listed as an Evolution?

If you try to combine two balls that do not have a pre-defined evolution, no new evolution will happen. The system only triggers for specific, known combinations.

Do the Levels of the Base Balls Affect the Resulting Evolution?

Yes, the base balls must be upgraded to Level 3 before they can be used in an evolution. This is a crucial prerequisite for any fusion. The resulting evolved ball’s power is then determined by its specific evolution type, not further scaled by the levels of its consumed components. So you’ll have to get characters starting balls to level 3 to even start.

    Can I Un-Fuse Balls?

No, once balls are fused into an evolution, the process is irreversible. So if you fuse balls, you’ll never get them back unless you get new ones in Ball x Pitt.
