Digimon Story Time Stranger has a ton of stuff to do after you beat the main story. The game has hundreds of Digimon you can catch, side missions you can finish, and tough enemies you can fight. When you reach the end of the story, you might want to know what happens next and how you can keep playing without losing everything you worked for.
New Game Plus is one of the best things you get after beating the game. It lets you start over from the beginning, but you get to keep a lot of the stuff you earned in your first run. This makes your second time through the game more fun because you face new challenges and get better rewards.
How to Unlock New Game Plus in Digimon Story Time Stranger

You unlock New Game Plus when you finish the main story for the first time. After you beat the final boss and watch the ending, you can use this feature. When you load your save file that shows you beat the game, you start right before the final boss. You can then pick New Game Plus from the main menu.
The title screen changes after you beat the game too. Instead of the normal opening you saw before, you now see Agent, Inori, and Aegiomon standing together and looking at the world. This new title screen tells you that you finished the game at least once.
What Comes With New Game Plus in Digimon Story Time Stranger
New Game Plus gives you some cool new features. The best part is two harder difficulty modes called Mega and Mega+. These make all the enemies way stronger and give you a real challenge. If you want to get every trophy in the game, you have to beat the story on Mega+ difficulty.
Mega+ difficulty is really hard because it takes away some things that helped you before. You cannot run away from fights, and you cannot use items when you are in battle. This means you have to depend only on your Digimon team and good planning. Not many players will be able to beat this difficulty.
What Carries Over to New Game Plus in Digimon Story Time Stranger

Your Partner Digimon come with you to the new game. All the Digimon you caught and trained stay with you. This means you can start building your perfect team right away with strong monsters. Your Agent Skills also stay with you, so you keep all the powers you got through the skill tree.
The Scan Rate of every Digimon you met before stays the same too. If you already scanned a Digimon to 100 percent, you can get it again right away. Your Anomaly Points stay with you, and so do all your Digimon Cards. All the items you picked up and all your money move to the new game as well. This makes things easier because you start strong instead of weak.
You can even keep using the Digifarm with everything you did there before. Your monsters can keep getting stronger through training while you play through the story again. The farm helps a lot when you need to get ready for the harder fights coming your way.
What Does Not Carry Over
Your story progress and side quest progress do not come with you. You start from the very first mission called ADAMAS. There is no way to skip missions, so you have to play through the whole story from start to finish again. All the side missions reset too, but this is good because you can do them again and get the rewards a second time.
Special Olympos XII Side Quest in Digimon Story Time Stranger

A special side mission shows up when you load your save file after beating the game. This mission lets you fight the Olympos XII in battle. You can find this quest in Akihabara at a spot called A Certain Alley. This is one of the hardest fights in the whole game.
When you win this side quest, you get an item called Fragment Memory Jupitermon. Take this item to Vulcanusmon and he will make you the Sky God’s Thunderbolt. This weapon is the best one you can get in the game. It gives you 500 extra attack and makes your critical hits happen 30 percent more often. It also stops all bad status effects from hurting you and makes electricity attacks do less damage to you. This weapon makes beating Mega+ difficulty a lot easier than it would be without it.
New Game Plus adds so much more time you can spend playing Digimon Story Time Stranger. With the harder modes, special rewards, and keeping your best Digimon, your second time through the game gives you fresh challenges while you still get to use all the cool stuff you earned the first time around.
