If you’ve been playing Stellar Blade for a while now, you probably know how important Weapon Arts are. They not only look good when used in fights but also deal quite a lot of damage when combined properly. If you are among the ones who always end up using the same moves in a loop, learn these combos that yield a much more satisfying Stellar Blade combat experience.
What Are Weapon Art Combos in Stellar Blade?

Weapon Arts are special abilities you can equip on Eve’s sword. When you press the right buttons, you activate one of these powerful attacks. What many players don’t realize is, you can chain two Weapon Arts together if you plan carefully. You can do Weapon Art 1 and then with Weapon Art 2, and it creates a synergy or sequence which feels smoother, does more damage, or controls the crowd better. Now, not all Weapon Arts go well together. Some are good alone. But there are some that work insanely well when used in sequence.
Why Most Players Miss These Combos?
For starters, the game doesn’t clearly tell you which arts can be chained. Also, because many players just go with the flashy or coolest-looking attacks, they don’t explore the more technical combos. Some combinations take good timing, or people are scared of using too much SP in a fight. Let’s get to the interesting part now.
Weapon Art Combos You Probably Missed
1. Heavenly Ascent → Deathblow

This combo is surprisingly effective. First, you lift the enemy in the air with Heavenly Ascent. Then, you can immediately follow with Deathblow to smash them back down. It’s really good against mid-sized enemies and can break their stagger bar completely. A lot of players only use Deathblow as a finisher but don’t realize how much better it gets after a launcher.
2. Phantom Edge → Spiral Slash

This one is all about mobility. Phantom Edge helps you close the gap between you and the enemy fast, and then Spiral Slash hits them in a wide AoE spin. Good for clearing out crowds fast. People usually equip them separately, but rarely try chaining them. Probably cause both of them get unlocked late.
3. Shadow Slash → Guillotine Drop

This combo is excellent for positional advantage. Shadow Slash puts you behind the enemy instantly, and Guillotine Drop then smashes from above. Great if the enemy blocks from the front or if you’re fighting someone with strong frontal defense. Most people never realize these two can flow so well.
4. Flicker → Vertical Cleave

If you like parrying or interrupting attacks, this combo is gold. Flicker acts almost like a mini-counter or fakeout, and then you follow up with Vertical Cleave for a punishing heavy hit. People don’t map Flicker as a main Weapon Art often, which is why this is less used.
5. Sweep Kick → Blade Tornado

A nice combo for crowd control. Sweep Kick trips smaller enemies and brings them down, then you activate Blade Tornado to shred them while they’re grounded. Sweep Kick looks weak alone, but when followed up properly, it becomes useful.
6. Blink → Phantom Edge

This one is more like a movement combo than pure attack. Use Blink to reposition quickly, then use Phantom Edge to close in fast. It’s excellent when you want to dodge then counter without breaking pace. Many players don’t see Blink as a setup move.
7. Heavenly Ascent → Guillotine Drop

An airborne combo that gives you vertical control during boss fights. It’s a bit harder to land because you need good timing while mid-air, but if you do it right, it’s very satisfying and powerful.
How to Discover Your Own Combos in Stellar Blade?
- Try experimenting in the training room.
- Use a mix of low and high SP cost skills to avoid running out.
- Look for combos that cause stagger, bleed, or launch enemies.
- Think in terms of positioning. If one move changes your place, what can follow?
Just pressing the same Weapon Art every time won’t unlock the real beauty of Stellar Blade’s combat. Try some of these combos, mix and match, and don’t hesitate to experiment a little, even if it costs you a retry. Sometimes, the most powerful setups are just one missed combo away.
Also, while exploring these combos out in Stellar Blade, do remember that the recent 1.0.11 update added new outfits and accessories as well, do keep an eye out for these as well!
