The Lies Of P DLC has NPCs that keep meeting you as you progress in the main story. One such quest is the Puppet Crusher side quest, that starts in Chapter 2 and concludes in Chapter 3. In this guide, we tell you about all the interactions that you need to tick off to complete this interesting side quest in Lies Of P Overture.
How To Start Puppet Crusher Quest In Lies Of P Overture

Start from the Ergo Mining Site Stargazer in Chapter 2. Take the path on the right, and as you move ahead, you will hear the first Puppet Crusher before you can see him. It will say, ‘Don’t pretend you can’t hear me, I saw you flinch’. That is your cue to look on your left. On interacting with the Puppet Crusher, you learn that there is someone trapped in the Mine, and is using these Puppet Crushers to speak and guide you to help.
Interaction #2

Start from the Ergo Mining Site Stargazer, and this time go straight, jump down, proceed ahead till you cross the waterfall on your left and a ladder straight ahead. Climb the ladder, and take the shaft across to the other side.

Take the path straight ahead (and not the one on your left), past the explosive barrels with the crates in the middle. Take the railway path on the right, avoiding the trolley that comes smashing down, and you will see the second Puppet Crusher on your right. Exhaust all dialog with it before moving onwards. You may also want to collect an Ancient Disk from the chest that can now be accessed, where the trolley crashed.
Interaction #3
Next, cross the bridge that spans across the mine, watch out for the enemy that suddenly jumps out from the other end. Then, proceed ahead to find the 3rd Puppet Crusher. The Voice requests you through this Puppet Crusher to hear out his story, and finally reveals that his name is Alexander. Hear out the rest of the dialog, we are nearing the end of this side quest; you have to wait till you progress in the main story though. Completing this interaction also gets you the ‘Doubt’ gesture.
Meeting Alexander | Brain In A Vat
Start from the Pitris Harbor Stargazer in Chapter 3, take the ladder on the right, and then the path on the right (opposite to the submarine)to finally interact with the Brain in a Vat. Hear out his tale, and finally, in the end, you have an option to agree or disagree to his request to turn off the machine.
If you select to help him, you get Humanity Points, and the Nightmare gramophone record. If you don’t, Alexander understands that it was asking too much of you, especially a stranger, and he will continue waiting for someone who agrees to his request. There is no reward to collect on selecting this option.
