Some of the toughest trophies you can chase involve evolving into rare and powerful Digimon, including specific forms of Aegiochusmon and the super-elusive Chronomon: Destroy Mode. Evolving into these usually means you need to max out all of your Agent Skill trees, which definitely hints at needing a New Game+ playthrough. And finally, beating the game on the hardest difficulty, Mega+, will be a serious test of your skill and mastery. There’s nothing for DLC Digimon like Black Agumon, so that’s cool.
Best Trophy Strategy in Time Stranger

If you’re trying to snag the “Agent of Perfection” trophy in Digimon Story: Time Stranger, you’re going to need a super well-rounded strategy that mixes up the main story, side missions, and some serious Digimon training. I’d say do a lot of this at a lower difficulty.
Your first move should be to diligently complete all the main story missions; that’s how you boost your Agent Rank and unlock the core game mechanics. However, don’t sleep on the side missions! They are not just little optional distractions; they’re absolutely essential for racking up Anomaly Points, which are vital for increasing your Agent Rank and unlocking powerful Agent Skills.
Since you can’t max out all the Agent Skill trees in a single run, I’d say you should wisely invest in the “Bonds of Loyalty” tree early on to grab those sweet EXP and leveling nodes. As you move forward, strategically specialize in two other Agent Skill categories to maximize their benefits, especially because some Digimon evolutions have specific skill requirements. Remember to move between the explorable zones after you finish a side mission, as that can actually trigger new ones.
Some of these side missions directly hand out Anomaly Points, helping you hit those later-game evolution requirements, like the ones needing Agent Rank 5 or 7, so much easier. For instance, the “Elite Agent” trophy requires you to reach Agent Rank 10, which means you’ll pretty much have to complete most of the side quests to get enough Anomaly Points.
Digimon management is another cornerstone of your trophy hunt. To register Chronomon: Destroy Mode, which is a gold trophy, you’ll need to hit Agent Rank 10 and max out all four “Bond” Agent Skill trees (Valor, Philanthropy, Amicability, and Wisdom), and yes, that implies a New Game+ playthrough is in your future. Similarly, “Darkness Awakens” requires evolving into Aegiochusmon: Dark with specific Agent Skill unlocks.
Maxing out your Digimon’s stats and Talent is paramount for meeting those high evolution requirements and nabbing the “Unrivaled Strength” trophy. You can do this by a mix of battles, Load Enhancements (which is basically sacrificing other Digimon for stat boosts and Talent), and strategic Digivolution/De-Digivolution. And here’s a quick one for you: training Digimon 30 times in the Digifarm will net you “Hard Work Pays Off,” a bronze trophy.
Collecting ten or more costumes for “An Agent’s Proclivities” is a straightforward task; just buy them from the Costume Shop, which becomes accessible after you finish the main mission “The Time Stranger.” Don’t neglect the Jogmon card game, either; winning a battle gets you “Card Battle Debut,” and you need to get a legendary card for “A Card of Legend.”
Lastly, make sure you explore and complete all the Outer Dungeons to unlock “The In-Between Explorer” and “Problem Solver.” The ultimate challenge, though, is “The Pinnacle of Existence,” which requires you to beat the game on Mega+ difficulty, an option that only unlocks after you’ve completed your initial playthrough of Digimon Story: Time Stranger.
