- PS5 : 6.27 GB
- Xbox: 19 GB
- Mac: 9 GB
- PC : 17 GB
- Steam: 8.5 GB
A few highlights from the Update include:
New Story Pack: A Critical Encounter
Ubisoft has collaborated with Critical Role to get a new story pack, where players get a new ally to recruit, and a new trophy, ‘A Critical Encounter’ to unlock. While this story pack will be free, as part of the collab, there will also be an option for players to purchase a Critical Role Weapon Pack that includes 2 weapons each for Yasuke and Naoe.
New Nightmare Difficulty
This will include, among other things, enemies dishing out higher damage, aggressive and smarter enemy AI, and scarce resources like adrenaline, shinobi items for players. Even established mechanics like safely moving in grass and shadows will make Naoe visible to enemies.

Headgear can be toggled on/off during cutscenes.
A Regional Alert System where attacking civilians or military outside camps will trigger an alarm, with a group of Guardians that will come to hunt you, sort of similar to what we had in AC Odyssey.
An option for gamers with limited GPU config to play the game with better frame rates with the addition of a new Ultra Low mode for PC.
In addition to these, numerous bug fixes that impact visuals, graphics and certain quests have been addressed.
AC Shadows released this year on March 20th for PC, PS5, & Xbox Series S|X, and while it sits at a respectable 81 critic score on Metacritic, the user score after more than 3k reviews is mixed or average at 6.2.
