PlayStation has announced the monthly additions to its base PS Plus subscription tier, and the three games are Lies Of P, DayZ, and My Hero One’s Justice 2. PS Plus subscribers can add these games to their library Aug 15th onwards.
In addition to this announcement is an added surprise: Avatars of Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV, God of War Ragnarök, and Twisted Metal are available for free to all PS Plus subscribers as part of the continuing 15th anniversary celebrations.
Coming to the games, here is a short note on all the August additions to PS Plus
Lies Of P
The closest fans of Bloodborne can get to a sequel, Lies Of P from Neowiz Studios, was a sleeper hit in 2023, and has released a well-received (and brutally difficult) DLC ‘Overture’ this year. The base game is full of tough bosses, some great weapon combinations to experiment with, Fable Arts that give weapons special abilities, and a great parry gameplay mechanic. If, for some reason, you have not got around to this one, now is your opportunity to see what the fuss is all about when the game lands free in your PS Plus library on 15th Aug
DayZ

DayZ has now been around for 12 years, and is a multiplayer survival game where you are dropped with nothing more than some clothes, a bandage, a glow stick, and fruit, and are expected to survive and fight off zombies in the post-Soviet republic of Chernarus.
My Hero One’s Justice 2
A fighting game developed by Bandai Namco in 2020, the game gives you the opportunity to experience iconic moments from the hit series.
This would also be a great time to get the July PS Plus games added to your library, as you will not get that chance after Aug 4th; and also look at these games once again if you are a PS Plus Extra/Premium subscriber.
