FNAF Secret of the Mimic has you exploring Murray’s Costume Manor with the intent of getting your hands on an elusive prototype technology; and the gameplay involves solving puzzles and surviving to make it to the next level. At one place in the game, you will ge stuck (again) in a Repair Elevator with only Fiona’s voice to guide you. Here, we have put up all the details on how to solve the puzzle and safely make your way to the next section in FNAF Secret of the Mimic.
FNAF Secret Of the Mimic: Second Repair Elevator Puzzle Solution
You solve the Second Repair Elevator by carefully listening to the voiceover and interpreting it correctly, to perform the right steps. There are 2 parts to this, interrupted by a giant clown landing on top of the elevator. The set of steps for the first part are as follows:
- First, turn the Emergency Brake handle to On
- Then, push the Power lever to Off
- The voiceover will then ask you to ‘Rebalance the Elevator’. Each of the 4 sections under the ‘Cable Balancer’ will have a blue part in between the red bars. Use the lever next to each of them to get the level to that blue space (in any order).
- A blue light will appear against each, indicating that you have done this step correctly
- Next, when the voice asks you to open the Elevator Doors, turn the crank under ‘Door Override’.
- Press the Open Maintenance hatch button: press the green button under ‘Open Hatch’ on the panel.
Entering the right code
Each of the numbers has a wire, which connects to 1 of the red buttons. You have to trace the correct wire, and press them for the code ‘2431’. Numbering the red buttons from left to right as 1,2,3 and 4, here is the sequence that you need to press:
- 3
- 1
- 4
- 2
The voice will say, ‘You are now safe to close everything up.’ : Press the ‘Close Hatch’ button on the panel. The shutter will then close the place where you entered the above sequence.
Next, turn the Door Override crank, press the Power On green button, and the Emergency Brake handle to Off; and the elevator will start moving again. You have completed the first part. Listen to the hilarious remarks and advice the voice attempts to give on your ‘weight issues’, till we are ready to begin the second part of this puzzle.
Perform the following set of steps:
- Turn the Emergency Brake back to ‘On’
- Turn the Power to ‘Off’
- Do the balancing bit by moving the 4 bars to the blue space in between like we did earlier.
- When the voice says to ‘Increase the speed of the elevator’ , turn the red handle next to the image of the tortoise and the hare to point to the hare.
- Then turn the Power On, the Emergency Brake back to ‘Off’, and you should be good to step out of the elevator.
