In Phantom Blade Zero, Memory Flowers are your main way of increasing health permanently. These come in groups, so for each, you have to collect all Memory Flowers to then get the health increase. These range from 5% to 10%, and so, by exploring an area well, you can come out of the region with almost a 20%+ higher max health than what you entered with.
In Crimson Forest, you will come across the ‘On Perfect Transcension’ Memory Flowers, and are likely to miss the count by 1 when other Memory Flower groups start popping up – leading you to wonder (and maybe backtrack to search) if you missed this.

On Perfect Transcension Memory Flower #1
The Memory Flower – On Perfect Transcension 1: The Handwritten Order is just before the bridge that you cross to get to the Thieves’ Camp hub area. If you look to the right below, you will spot the Flower. This comes just after defeating Jing Ye, The Outlaw boss.
On Perfect Transcension Memory Flower #2
After completing all your interactions at the Thieves’ Camp, as you head down the road and enter the cave with the two thieves standing outside, you will come across the Memory Flower: Perfect Trancension II -Corruption or Cowardice?
On Perfect Transcension Memory Flower #3
You get the next Perfect Transcension Memory Flower in the exact same area where you get the Thieves’ Camp Dungeon Key – in the building at the Cliffside Lodge. Use our guide for the detailed steps to get there. At the location, once you get the Thieves’ Camp Dungeon key, jump down one level, and follow the passage to the end, to get the Memory Flower: On Perfect Transcension 4: The Means To Resist.
This passage will be the one where you have climbable ledges on both left and right. One end will lead to a gate (on the other side of which lies one of the NPCs to give pills as part of A Healer’s Mercy quest), and the other will lead to the Memory Flower.
On Perfect Transcension Memory Flower #4
To get the final Memory Flower, you have to wait a while. After completing the entire Crimson Forest, and landing in the Village of Lu, progress till you defeat Zhuo Bi, The Gatekeeper. This boss is on the main story path and unmissable. Once you defeat him, you get the Bastion Phantom Edge, and the ability to go through areas that shoot crossbows.
One of these areas is in the Thieves’ Camp – the locked door which we used the Dungeon Key on, and got two Amber Shards from.
Enter the Dungeon, and go to the second room. On the right, you should see another of these paths, with a shiny up ahead as a visual cue. Go down that path holding the Bastion with R2, and you will come out in an open area.
Take the path on your right with an enemy on horseback. Defeat him, and on the cliff edge is your final Memory Flower: On Perfect Transcension 3: A Newfound Power.
With this, your set of 4 Memory Flowers is complete, and you get the 7% increase in health.
