In Crimson Forest, the 2nd region for Phantom Blade Zero, you will come to the Thieves’ Camp that acts as a hub area for the Snake’s Reflection main mission. Here, among other NPCs, you will spot a familiar face – that of Yu’er. By this point, you would have completed the Flesh Lilies and Apprentice Healer side quests for her.
She has now crafted a life saving pill, and wants to hand these out to the friends of the Silver- Tongued Thief with her. There are 4 thieves that need saving, and, as usual, they are spread across different parts of the map – some that you may have already traversed.
Here’s how to locate all 4 thieves and complete A Healer’s Mercy quest in Phantom Blade Zero. You can do these in any order, as long as you complete them before defeating the final boss of the Snake’s Reflection chapter, it is ok.
#1.Zhen – The Slippery Eel | Cliffstone Lodge
Getting to Zhen requires you to first get to the Cliffside Lodge. The next part is exactly the same for getting a Blackstone Shard, and the Thieves’ Camp Dungeon key. Getting the key is also essential for progressing this quest, since one of the thieves that we need to give the medicine to is on the other side of that particular locked door.
Anyway, once you have reached the spot shown in the image above, get to the Thieves’ Camp Dungeon key location, and go straight ahead. There will be a gate that you can open, and right there is Zhen – The Slippery Eel. Give the pill to him, and that is 1 done and 3 to go.
#2 – Gui the Night Raven | Thieves’ Camp
With the key in your hand, unlock the door at the Thieves’ Camp, and straight ahead, the first thing will be Gui the Night Raven lying on the ground in front of you. Hand the pill to him, and he will start recovering, and we would have completed 2 handouts.
#3 – Li the Flying Rat | Outlaw Trap
From the Outlaw Trap bell, take the right path, past the Memory Flower. On the first turn, you will find the 3rd thief that needs our help. Hand over the pill, and we are down to the last person to help out.
#4 Zhou the Lean Monkey | Outlaw Trap Bell
Go to the Outlaw Trap bell, and drop down the opening from the Tunnel Crank. Take the ladder, and go to the right and cross the bridge with the wooden planks. After that, stick to the left, and you will see Zhou, the Lean Monkey straight ahead.
Hand him the pill, and with that we are done with all 4.
Closing A Healer’s Mercy Quest, & Rewards
You get the Calming Gourd accessory for completing A Healer’s Mercy side quest. When equipped, using medicine lets you recover from guard break, and prevents Sha-Chi consumption for 3 seconds.
Ensure that you complete this quest before defeating the final boss of this region, else it will fail, as the NPC then moves to a different area.
